Can we set up a DAS at one of the guest relation kiosks they have in some of the WDW parks? I usually get a DAS for each of my kids at DLR, but we probably won't need to split up at WDW so 1 would work just fine. In the event my daughter needs her own, I'm wondering if we can get it inside without going all the way to the front again (her endurance might become a concern). I assume the DLR and WDW DAS systems are not linked at all?

To my knowledge, the systems aren’t linked. At WDW your DAS is connected to your file that has a ton of info about you and all the rides you’ve been on and anything dealing with Guest Relations or that type of communication.

Ive gotten my DAS at a Guest Experience Team kiosk at both parks. At WDW, every person connected to the DAS must be present when adding them to the DAS pass. I think you can also get the DAS outside at Guest Relations just outside the parks in Florida which used to not be possible at DL and CA.

I have been able to set up my DAS at one of the booth and have seen other doing the same thing. If GR dose not have a long line I would go there Just Incase they are not doing it.

Thanks! The pinned post for WDW just says I need tickets or magic bands for everyone if I have less than 6 family members? I was thinking of getting it the day before my husband flies in. If they only let me get it for the 3 of us, do you know if I can add my husband at a ride or kiosk? Or do I need to go back to guest relations?

You can go to GR or the kiosk to add more people to the DAS the rides can not add anyone to the DAS.

I know you can add or subtract a person at a kiosk (Guest Experience Team) anytime but I doubt an attraction CM can add someone to the pass because their role is only issuing return times. It also really holds up the line for other DAS users wanting a return time at the attraction.

I needed to add someone to my pass and was turned away even though They had previously been on my pass, had their ID and ticket, and explained that the kiosk lines were all over 30 minutes plus the time penalty of wheelchair parade viewing requiring a 90-minute early arrival time to get a spot when others only needed to wait 30 minutes if that. I still got a firm rejection.
