servers on the fantasy

This may sound stupid, but we have heard so many people rave about their servers. We have cruised with DCL twice once on the Woder( horrible serving team.one complained constantly hating her job) the next on the dream was only mediocre ignoring 1/2 our group. I would love some input on servers on the Fantasy so I could request a good serving team. We will have a group of 10 ranging from age 3-67. Thanks in advance for the suggestions. Rotation doesn't matter. We have the early seating if that matters.

We had Tiago from Portugal and our assistant server was Nikolett from Hungary. There is another Tiago from Portugal on the Fantasy, so you'd want to make sure you got the right one. When we were on in January they were working on Fitz's team (he was the head dining guy). They were absolutely fantastic. Tiago even got my kids to eat their veggies by promising to do magic tricks when they did!

Gabriela from Czech Republic was amazing - so warm and thoughtful! When are you sailing? She told us she was getting married in June and may or may not return....

unfortunately we did not mention the horrible server on the comment card. We should have, but since it was our first cruise(3 day) we were a little overwhelmed.
Our cruise on the Fantasy leaves May 31!!!! can't wait!!!!!

Just returned on Saturday from a Fantasy cruise. Had Santos and Istvan (on Fitz team) and was thoroughly pleased. Great service! Also can highly recommend Luca at Palo.

We were on the Fantasy in Feb and we had Ricardo and Vencenzo. We had a group of 16 and they were fabulous. They took care of all the kids and the kids loved them. The adults went to Palo one night and they told us to go ahead and send the kids to the MDR and they would take care of them. I totally would have trusted them, but since we had late seating, we decided to let them eat early one night and go to the kids club instead. They were like family by the end of the week.

Jayson is the best !!! We had him last April and fell in love with him he was VERY attentive and loved messing with our kids. We wanted to bring him home with us!! He was leaving after our cruise to go home and be with his wife while she had their baby!! If you get him ask how his little baby is doing!!

On our Feb cruise on the Fantasy, we had Jerry (Philippines) and his Assistant Valine (St. Lucia). Absolutely fantastic pairing who could not do enough for my family, and who definitely deserved every penny of the additional tips that we added to our account for them.

If DeWayne Gibson from Jamaica is on the cruise he is wonderful! He's a head server. Our assistant server was Ricardo from Portugal but he's no longer with DCL he went back to join his dad's business back home but together they were incredible. Not sure who Dewayne's assistant is now but he is sooo worth requesting! He made dinner a lot of fun for us We have already sent in our request for him for our October sailing on the fantasy! Hope your next experience is a good one ... I know how it is not liking some of the waitstaff it happened to me on on of our other cruises and it didn't make dinner a good experience at all.

You should never feel bad about reporting bad service. How else will DCL know who's doing a good job and who needs some retraining. The word is that someone quickly reads through all the comment cards before the next cruise pulls out, so they can deal with problems right away.

We like Brent Humphrey from Trinidad and have had him twice as our server on the Fantasy. CMs are also given some extra recognition when a guest requests them specifically too...

We were on the Fantasy March 1-8 . We had Sergio from Montengero & Maria from Slovakia , our head server was Kapoor from India .
We were treated like like Kings & Queens each night . If you go to Palo you'll be very happy with anyone there . We had Luca and he was fantastic .

It was our third cruise with Sergio on March 8-15. He is incredible.

I missed Fitz tho. Kapoor is no Fitz....

We loved Anson from India. Hazel was the assistant, she was pleasant. We are requesting Anson for our September trip on the Fantasy. I've heard that the server and asst don't always stay together. The first time we sailed, I didn't bother requesting anyone or a dining rotation.

Our favorite server is now a head server, so we request to be in his section...Liam Scott from Jamaica. We had him as a server for the first time in 2002, and have been requesting him ever since! He knows what truly excellent service is!
