Crazy packing -- last day to run errands... WOW!

Look for you all at the Goofy Pool! I'm the one with salt and pepper (mostly salt these days!) chin length hair, glasses, mid height. My husband has light brown hair, glasses. My daughter is nearly my height, long medium brown hair.

I'm eternally bad with names and faces, so please don't mind me if I have to ask more than once I'm really looking forward to meeting you!

Sorry I haven't posted in the last few days - been really busy, and have now moved home from university in London. So excited now though! We leave on Wednesday, as we are spending a few days in Barcelona before the cruise. My fish extenders gifts are nearly all organised now. I really hope to meet you all on the cruise - as we have never been on a cruise or the Magic before, I am not sure what happens on the first day, but we are quite keen to do the tour and spa tour, to get a feel for the ship, but hopefully we will still have time to stop by the Goofy pool.

Hope all your packing is going well! I haven't started yet!!!

Probably not totally sure but I'm hoping we are all boarded by 1.30-2pm so I guess after that. We all need to eat before the pool/while at the pool - then head off to Muster Drill and Sail Away party so whatever works for you all

Do whatever works for you - we're on board all week - we'll get to meet up at some stage!! I didn't get to do the tour last time and would be keen to do it too but if its like last year a week isnt long enough and I'll come home again with things I wanted to do but never got round to!!

I'm with you Roberta - I'm guaranteed to get names wrong! I've been having a giggle to myself as I made a few hand written notes on the back of my FE sheet - basically the descriptions people made of themselves - it'll be good to see if I can use them to spot you all!! I'm like you - more grey/white than I'd like but thanks to my hairdresser this morning isnt good and short and mixed up with highlights!!

Empty suitcases are lined up in our front hallway as I don't know which we'll need - but no packing until Wednesday for me although I will admit I've got a "cruise corner" shelf in our library/office that has a pile that has grown over the past months.

Did you all set up for Mickey to call your children before the cruise? I saw it on the website and set up for Mickey to call my dd on Sunday morning. Cool idea if you haven't done it yet.

Randi, I now have our suitcases and Trunki's laid open on the bedroom floor and soo much stuff on my bed that I think I will be in our spare room tonight - there's way too much stuff to move to let me into my own bed!! I have to say, for me packing is all part of the fun and preparation. I'm much happier when I am packing the cases then I am when we are back home and I am emptying out all those dirty clothes and realising thats it all over for another year (or two or three if the Magic isnt back in Europe for a couple of years).

As for the Mickey call - I looked at this last year and you couldn't get it if you lived outside of the US or Canada. I didn't even investigate it this year - the girls would certainly have loved it - I bet Leigha did too.

Not much longer for the kids (or grown up kids) to wait now!!!!

We're into single numbers of sleeps!!

I'll head over to the Goofy pool somewhere between 2-2.30 then. Not sure how long I can stay as I want to get in the tours too. Will be taking plenty of photos/video during the week as well. We leave home on Thursday so countiong down the days!

Does anyone know if they will offer backstage tours/tours of the ship on our cruise? I am especially interested in the theatre and restaurant tours! Do you have to book these when you get onboard? Thanks for any info!

Yes, they offer several tours. There is usually a tour of the theatre and the ships galley. They also do a tour of the ships theme. I'm not sure if they offer all the tours all the time but you should get at least one or two.

I believe I have read enough to figure out we are trying to meet around 2:30pm at the goofy pool. We check in at 2 and I'm not sure how long it will take. I hope we can make it.

Funny - I've been doing the same Waffles for dinner tonight worked well.... My DH is on a business trip until Wednesday night (we leave Thursday) so at least meals are easier with just me and DD.

Its gone so quiet on the thread!!

I am assuming all our American and Canadian cruisers have left for Europe already! Kirsten, Randi, Roberta, Heather, Michelle, Sonja etc To our British cruisers, Adam, Caroline, Melody - safe travels to Barcelona, not long now!!

The weathers looking lovely for our ports of call - I'm watching them all on the ipod!!

I'm soo excited - worse than the kids!!

Looking forward to eating in the Hard Rock cafe in Barcelona tomorrow and having a wee browse round El Corte lgles! Was last in it on honeymoon 15 years ago!

Hi Everyone!

We arrived in Barcelona yesterday, and are having a great time so far. Our hotel is on La Rambla, and we are enjoying exploring the area. The weather is lovely too! We did the Hop On Hop Off bus today, and saw Sagrada Familia, and stopped at the Football Stadium. We visited El Corte Igles today too - I am sure you will enjoy it Jude! We also just ate at Hard Rock Cafe - the food was great, with huge portions! Hope you enjoy your meal there!

We went down to the port too today - we were only able to see a Celebrity ship from where we were, but exciting to think the Magic will be there on Saturday!
