SERIOUSLY - has our family the 'Magic" to ourselves on 6th August 2011 Med cruise???

How can it be that no one has started a cruise meet thread for the Med cruise out of Barcelona on 6th August 2011???? Do we really have it to ourselves?? Boy can you imagine what sort of upgrade we could get - or more likely has it the potential to be cancelled due to lack of booking - that doesn't bear thinking about!!

Can someone at least say "Hi" - that would make my day

I sure hope so Lisa! Youre sailing is probably full, what with the cancellation of the 3 Sept cruise but I really wish there was a meet thread listed for ours! I guess I'll have to content myself till someone signs up!!

Not long to your first dream cruise = I'm excited for you so you must be totally hyper!

Needless to say I'd love to sail the Caribbean, perhaps some day, but for now its easier for me to stick to Europe when my kids are young.
It'll be nice to watch as more Disney fans join us! I am like a big kid - and as the girls don't know yet I am soo ready to explode keeping the planning all to myself!!

Have you taken part in the FE exchange before? We've only sailed once and the girls really enjoyed it. Guess we can watch and see who joins up and if there is any interest out there.

As for Barcelona - we arrive on Friday lunchtime and are staying in an apartment near the Playa de Catalunya - we'll sight sea from there - just wait and see how mum and the girls feel. As per last year, the girls have no idea and I do not plan on telling them for a while.

Your signature may be too long, I think there is a limit to the number of lines it can be.

No packing yet, maybe this weekend I will pull some summer things out.

Hi there - you're very welcome.
I feel like the Disney Crew Members who welcome you onto the Magic when you first board - all smiles and laughter - typical Disney style - they know how to do it.

This is only our second Disney Cruise. Ian and I cruised with MS Sea on honeymoon years ago, then last summer was the first Disney Cruise - and like people say "I'm hooked". I love Disney soo much and its such a fun way to see the world and have your kids easily entertained as well as spend quality family time with them.

Where are you guys from? I'd love to know a little more about where is "home" to you all?

You're first cruise - how exciting - thats just where we were this time last year and I found out such a lot of information reading these threads. Check out some of the threads at the top of the very first page - they cover anything and everything you need to know and where you can go to find out more info - trust me - I read for hours and made myself wee notes on my iphone of things I should buy and other websites to check out. The planning itself was soo much fun.

Who is travelling with you? With me its my three daughters and my mum. This will be everyones second Disney Cruise except mum - it'll be her first and she 73!!!

Has anyone been looking into port excursions? I've been trying to decide between the Disney ones and private excursions. Any thoughts?

Also, hope we can start an onboard exchange with Fish Extenders - it was so much fun on our last cruise.

This is our first ever cruise, it'll be me, my hubby and sons aged 16 and 14.

We're going to look into private excursions but haven't got far yet!
