Serious Glue Problem! Help!

I am TRYING to finish our book from 4 WDW trips ago. I used tape runners I had from long ago that came from CM until it ran out. Then I used this thing than ran along the picture and put down "glue" like rubber cement. I like it but it hung up and skipped which drove me nuts. Then I bought Glue from Scotch with a 2-way applicator, but my pages from last night are WRINKLED. Did I use too much? What do I buy? I don't have a CM person anymore and I prefer to buy at a store. Please help. At this rate I will never finish this and get on to the next vacation. Thanks, Melissa

I had trouble with the scotch leaving my pages wrinkled also. I never found what amount would be right unless I was using something very heavy.

I use a tombow adhesive (aviable in store similar to cm tape runner), double sided atpe, a zig 2 way pen, glue dots (not usually for pictures though), and my xyron 250 machine. For pictures and paper I generally use the tape and tape runner.

I use the little tape squares. Can't remember what they are called? I used to get Fiskars brand but I think the most recent ones I got were by 3M. I usually get them at Walmart and Michaels.

They also make tape runner type products you can buy in the stores. Michaels or your LSS should have them.

I am an ATG gun convert thanks to some of the ladies on this board. I have used just about everything out there and nothing sticks as well as that glue for big items. The only problem is the only places to get them are online or in LSS.

However, I find that the xyron x works great for small things and so do the glue dots. Those are like cement. If you are lucky enough to find them, glue dots just started making their product in an applicator as opposed to the boxed. I bet that works great. I planning on getting a couple when they come to a store near me.

I use the Elmers glue sticks for putting down photos and Zig glue pens for putting down letters and diecuts from my Cricut ... I've never had a problem.

Hermifix tabs work well....but to be honest I just love my CM tape runner......I am not a CM person at all...but something about that adhesive....anyway try the Hermifix tabs. I use them often. They are just bigger than the CM. I don't like the Hermi dots.....just don't seem to stick anymore

Thanks for the suggestions. I am off to the local hobby shop tomorrow to look for several of the products suggested. I have my dining table covered with scrap booking stuff and would love to finish this book soon. Again, thank you for your time and help. Melissa

OK----Back from Hobby Lobby and I found the Zig 2 ways. I will try them tonight.

I was born in Louisiana, but I got here pretty fast! Hubby and children are all "real" Texans! We were almost blown away with Ike, but we are doing better now. Thanks again, Melissa
