I have posted this in the SL info section, but in case anyone wants to discuss thought I'd duplicate the info in it's own thread.

EXCLUSIVE!! SEQUOIA LODGE with floors and VIP services

A castle club will open at Sequoia Lodge! the rooms are ready they are in the top 3 floors of the main building.

It will have the same services as the empires VIP Club New York state and the Castle Club DLH.

There will be rooms and VIP suites.

The lounge will be located in place of the current meeting rooms on the first floor of the reception. It will include a beautiful tree in the center of the room.

With thanks to mick73 at Disney Central Plaza for the information

from Feb/March next year apparently, wonder if they'll let us have a look during our trip or I'd be happy to try it out and review for them :rolleyes1

Interesting.

I wonder if they'll resurrect the Admirals floor at NPB. I know it still exists in name but they stripped most of the benefits. I wouldn't be surprised to see them re-instated along with VIP Fastpass.

Personally I wouldn't pay the extra, especially when you consider they're not normally included in offers. I suppose it's nice to have the option though and it'd be nice to receive a free upgrade!

Hmmm, very interesting - thank you Jill!

I love the look of the SL (in my mind it now comes second to the DLH for us) and will stay there sometime! I wanted to stay this coming trip but Mum wanted to stay at the DLH due to location in the cold! I think if we do make a trip next year then the SL will be where we stay, but not sure we'd pay the extra for a VIP room - knowing Disney they will be soo expensive! I would reserve judgement until I see what you get though.... :thumbsup2

I'm not even staying at the SL next February (yet :scratchin) but I'd volunteer to check out the rooms while I'm there if it would help Disney out ;).

Officially called the Golden Forest Club, there's a very brief mention of it in the Spring Summer brochure, but no details of what's included, but prices are available.

Had a look at 2 adults price, value time of year and comes up about £230 dearer than a standard room on a 4 night 5 day stay, and about £300 dearer in high season, if VIP FP's are included that's not a bad price.

Very interesting!

Our next trip will be a winter one so will definitely be DLH. But we really like SL and I think for a summer trip this could be a great option. Especially if its cheaper than DLH and includes the VIP FPs which will be very handy during busier times of the year.

Exciting!

Thanks for that Jill :thumbsup2

If we do go back next year (and stay onsite) I would like to try the SL instead of the DLH (for a change :lmao:). This would definitely appeal if we were going at a busy time due to FPs (which it would be as we have to go in school holidays!).

Would love to know what it is going to include - officially that is - have read about it on other forums, but nothing official.

Having said that, I have read quite a few reviews of the ESC recently that have really slated it - said it's gone downhill and other than the FPs, it really isn't worth the money. I wonder if the SL Club will be better? :confused3

The FP included in that kind of room (GF) is the hotel FP (that can be used only once per day)

When you are sleeping at the SQL, you need to book a suite to have a VIP FP.

I am going there in less than 2 weeks.
