Hi everyone,

I know they have updated the rooms and now have flatscreen TV's.

I have now just brought a galaxy note 3 which has an HDMI output. My plan is to load it with films and if possible watch films at night just before bed.

Do any of you know if the HDMI port on the telly is accessible and if you can actually change the TV station over to the HDMI so you can view..?

Oh not sure - but the USB is accessible as I used it to charge my camera and phone, possibly you could with the HDMI, but it depends on the remote being a custom generic one that has the function enabled to change it. Most are just basic easily replaced remotes? I'm there again in February and am interested in this too - though it's usually the laptop films get streamed from to a tv and the galaxy's are used in the car

We could not get the TV to go onto the HDMI or SCART channels on our last trip, we took a portable DVD player with us and it appeared that the TVs were locked down so you could not access the other ports on it.

I had a feeling that this would be the case - the usb charges works ok for charging cameras while the tv is on, but I suspected the others would be disabled.....

Hi,

Just a follow up on this as I am at disney now.

Above is the tv in my room. The rectangular bit on the right you can push open. When open this exposes the side of the tv. The pic below clearly shows the hdmi port so you can get at it.

On the remote is an AV button. If you press this it changes the channels so you can choose the hdmi chanel. I can't actually test this out as I never actually got an adaptor but I am certain it will work

I've been worried about charging my iphone, will the tv usb port charge my phone?

I wouldn't have thought so to be honest. Why can you plug it in?. All you need is a european adaptor. There are 3 plugs in the room and one by the sink....

I charged my phone and HD video camera via the US port on the tv, sure you could too?? I'm going to use it again in just over two weeks, but will take my laptop as a back up - and an adapter (which I need for my straighteners anyway)
