Hi there :)
I am going to DLP on Sept 3rd-7th, and I was wondering if anybody knows whether the room refurb will be completed by then? We had booked a Montana Room, so does this mean that we will get a refurbished room? Does a Montana Room actually mean anything?

We were thinking of going for breakfast at about 7:30 each morning, is this a good time? I have read that from about 8am onwards it is very busy?

Can you use your room towels for the pool? I am a bit confused from what I have already read. (We are students on a budget!)

Is it expensive to hire a kettle? I know that this is an option but I don't know the cost. (2/3 of us are tea addicts.)

Finally, we are going to celebrate an 18th birthday. We are not actually in Disney for the birthday, but is it worth mentioning this to a CM upon arrival, or even giving SL a ring before we go? I don't want it to seem like we want something for nothing but it is her first trip whilst the other two of us have been before so we want it to be as magical as possible!

I know that there are a lot of questions there so thank you for reading/ answering. I appreciate it!

I'm pretty sure that the refurbishment of the rooms is just about finished - so if you have booked a Montana room then you will definitely be in a refurbished room, and probably in the main building. You could always ring the hotel a few days before you go if you have a preference for staying in the main building or the lodges.

Breakfast at 7.30 should mean that you get there before the rush starts.

Kettles are free, though you may have to pay a refundable deposit. Sometimes you will find one still in your room, otherwise just go down to the Concierge desk.

You could ring about the 18th birthday but pixie dust can be a bit of a hit and miss affair at DLP!! Some people get extra things in their room or VIP breakfast passes and others get nothing.

Lovely, thank you :)

I suppose it's worth a try. If you don't ask you don't get, as they say. :confused3 :goodvibes
