I need some help.....me, my husband, and our two year old twin girls will be visiting Disney, Sept 16-23. I am in the process of dining reservations and am OVERWHELMED.....please help me. I need 7 total sit-down's and here are my thoughts so far......

Akerhaus
Chef Mickey's
1900 Park Fare
O'Hana
Hollywood and Vine

So I would love input on many things....
- are these good choices and which meal is best where
- what other places should I add to our list

Thanks so much!!!

I was not a fan of Chef Mickey's for breakfast, it was chaotic, messy and picked through- But this is just one experience-
What about Crystal Palace?
Nine Dragons?
Teppen Edo?
Whispering Canyon?

I too am not a fan of Chef Mickey's. We went for dinner and it was just your plain run of the mill buffet. The characters were great.

Same for 1900 Park Fare buffet. Cindy's sisters were great! Food not so much.

Cape May Cafe (Beach Club) has a very good character breakfast - not too crowded.

How are your girls with characters? That would really be the deciding point. If they don't do well with the "furry" ones...go with 1900 Park Fare, Cinderella's Royal Table and Akershus since they have face characters.

I like Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace and Tusker House and have only been to Chef Mickey's for dinner. The characters are great at all of these.

I hear Ohana is very good, but again, make sure your girls aren't freaked out by the characters.

As a pp mentioned..it might depend on how well your little girls like to meet the characters. Assuming that they will like them;) here is my list of suggestions.

MK:
Crystal Palace - Pooh and Friends... (we prefer breakfast here)
(If the girls were a little older I would recommend breakfast in Cindy's Castle...but for the $$ I think it would be lost on them at their age.)

Epcot:
Akershus - (we didn't love the food at dinner but it was a great place to meet the princesses.)
Coral Reef: This is one of our favorite places. We have consistently had excellent food and service the past 3 trips and our kids LOVE the atmosphere.
Teppan Edo: We are trying this for the first time in a few weeks so I can't speak about the food. But I hear excellent things about it and I think it watching the chef prepare the food might be entertaining for little ones.
Tutto: Excellent food. Our kids love eating here because they enjoy their *pasta with sauce on the side* fix.;) DH & I love the food as well.

Hollywood Studios:
Hollywood & Vine for breakfast. (for the characters:rolleyes1)
50's Prime Time: Really fun atmosphere..love the burgers & milkshakes

AK:
Tusker House character breakfast: Our favorite character meal!

Other fun places: Chef Mickeys - O'Hana for breakfast or dinner - 1900 Park Fare - BOMA @ AKL - Whispering Canyon for dinner @ WL -

You can check out all the specific menus at Allearsnet.com
Hope that helps a little! :)

Biergarten! So much fun and the food is plentiful - something for everyone on the buffet.

Garden Grill in Epcot - food was ok, service super slow but the characters were great and spent a lot of time w/ our son (who was 2)

I agree w/ the other person who said Ohana - we went for breakfast and it was great. They do a parade and march w/ the kids and Mickey came over and took ds by the hand and marched around w/ him. So Cute!!!

And the other one was Liberty Tree Tavern - I heard they may not do the characters anymore so you might want to check. The characters at this one spent loads of time at the table it was great!

Hope this helps!

If they aren't scared of the Characters, then my vote is for Crystal Palace and O'hana breakfasts. Both have great character interaction and the food is really good.

I didn't care for Chef Mickey's breakfast food although I did have fun with all the characters.

Many of my personal favorites have been mentioned.

Tusker House before AK opens...for breakfast is a great choice and one of the limited places to see Daisy.

O'Hanas is also great for breakfast.

Another personal favorite...not for the food...Sci Fi Dine-In at HS. GREAT theming and a fun resturant for kids...also nice and cool/dark in there. my kids loved it.

Chef Mickey's is a must do for your family as well. My son requests it everytime we go...food is just okay but characters are great!!!

Cape May (breakfast) is also okay...

EPCOT Garden Grill is fun too as it rotates and servesgreat food...the addition of Mickey is a nice touch!!

Happy planning!
