September trip cancealed due to injury now need help finding somewhere to stay in May

Hi all, I had to canceal our September trip cause my DD crushed his arm in a forklift. I know terriable and it was. He is recovering nicely, still not back to work but in therphy and we prayer he will be back soon.
It is killing all of us that we had to postpone our trip as we were planning for over a year and I really want to start palnning a new trip.
The problem is this. Money is tight as you can imagine and I want to try to plan a trip that won't brake the bank so to speak. What off site hotels could we stay at that could accomidate all 7 of us in one room, that is close to the WWD property, and also Universal & Sea World?
Thanks all and if anyone has any other suggestion please feel free to share. I just need to get back to DIsney already. Its been a hard year and we all need a vacation.

Hi Disneydreamer5 - sounds a terrible accident your DD had - glad he is on the mend.

For 7 it may be better value to look into renting a condo or townhome - this can also save money on food bills as breakfast and a packed lunch can be easily arranged when you have a full kitchen to hand.

Try sites like www.vrbo.com, www.homeaway.com, www.lastminutevillas.net it may surprise you at what you can get for less than the cost of 2 hotel rooms

We had good luck with a 3 bedroom condo we rented from an owner at vacationrentals.com. Some really affordable areas are in Grand Palms resort and Villas at Island Club. You can get lots of space for $50-70 a night.
