September Photoshare - payment due.

Here we go... Our trips are almost here. I preordered the CD the 1st week of July. The total cost is $22. CDN each. Please send payment as soon as possible. You can send me a cheque or pay me via paypal. I would like all payments by August 15, incase someone backs out and we can offer the spot to someone else.

Please send me a PM with your address and also your email address if you want to pay by paypal. I can send you an invoice thru your email address via paypal.

Also please welcome Douglas Bray to our group. Douglas replaces Xantha, who has to cancel her trip. This is our group and our vacation dates:

I have also asked Disney_lovers to hold off entering their photocards to the Disney website till after September 4. This is to give us vacationing at the end of the month a couple of days to modify our pictures when we return.

I will order the completed CD on October 2, 2008. So everyone should have their CD by mid October!!

On your return from Disney, I will send you an email with the login and password for the photoshare.

I have received payments from everyone. Also Xantha's trip is back on, so she will be adding a few pics to our pass. I will PM everyone the sign in information. But please do not start entering photo pass numbers until September 4, 2008. This will give us going at the end of the month a couple of days to modify our pictures.

This is just a reminder on how the photopass share works: (This text was taken from a previous swap I was in, I believe she found it on the budget board.)

I think the most important point is to make sure you don't create your own Photopass account. If you enter your card numbers onto your own account, you won't be able to use them in our swap I will give out our swap account name and password in September. Everyone has 30 days to claim their photos and then another 30 days once the card #s are entered into the account. At least this is how I understand the system to work. Let me know if you have any questions.

1) Get a photopass card from a photopass photographer when they take your pictures in the parks. Have fun and have lots of photopass photographers take your picture. Each photographer will scan your photopass card to add photos to your photopass card id number.

2) When you get home, rather than create your own Photopass account on the Disney Photopass website, you will use a photopass account that is already created by the group of people that you have prearranged to share with.

3) All the people in this group add their photopass card IDs to this same account on the Disney Photopass website. You can edit your photos there (add borders, crop, etc) and then once everyone in the group has added their photos and edited their pictures.

4) Everyone's pictures will be on this CD. The person who ordered it will make copies for all other people in the group and mail them their copies. You can then take this CD to any photo place and get your photos developed as you wish because Disney sends a copyright release with the CD.

5) There is no limit to how many pictures you can take. If a group has enough pictures to fill more than one CD, Disney will send as many additional CD's as it takes at no extra charge.

I'm the leader of a photopass share group, created the account and pre-purchased the CD. We were going to start uploading pictures tomorrow Aug. 24th for those who have already came back. We had a person create their own account to look at their pictures (seperate from the one I created). They have not edited or done anything except view the pictures. Is there anyway they can still somehow add them to the groups account or is there anyway to use the account they created and use the CD code I got for the account I created (no pictures have been uploaded to the group account yet). Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!

The answer to this is NO. This is extremely difficult to rectify. Some have been successful, some not. I am not willing to go to the extra work involved if this happens to our group. So please DO NOT create your own account.
