In the process of planning September Disneymoon, and my hubby to be has been kinda distant in the process (not as big a Disney freak as I am!...it took a little convincing to put this whole Disneymoon plan into action). I am looking for something really special to do while we are there, something to really wow him! I was thinking of having a basket delivered to the room when we got there, but I don't know what time we will be able to get into the room, and the ones that the Disney Florist had weren't really "fantastic", and when I called, they weren't really willing to do much to spruce them up. Anybody have any ideas?:confused3

For our first big trip together, I had our resort (WL) deliver a cake to our room. It was DF's birthday so they brought balloons and a card from Mickey. That might not be as spectacular as what you are looking for, but he was really surprised. A little unexpected Disney magic. It was not there when we arrived but rather when we returned from a day at the parks.

I think a Wishes cruise would be really nice for someone who isn't quite as into to Disney, sort of pricey though. There are a lot fun things to do, I'm just drawing a blank. I'm sure someone will have some better ideas!

I know you can do the cake through room service, but did they take care of the balloons and the card, etc?

I understand where you're coming from - over the years I've sort of Disney'd my DF out!!! A good thing to do would be to show him all of the great things to do that most people don't even realize Disney offers....for example: Parasailing, Cirque du Soleil, Wishes or Illuminations Cruise (as previously mentioned), etc.
Also, be sure to plan a special dinner or 2 - some suggestions: California Grill, Jiko, Artist's Point, Le Cellier - don't forget to mention that it's your honeymoon - you may get some extra pixie dust! You could arrange for one of the tours - like Keys to the Kingdom (sort of a behind the scenes MK tour) or maybe a Segway tour at Epcot.
Don't forget to plan time to relax by the pool and at the hotel.....if he's not so much of a Disney freak (like we are :goodvibes ), then he might not appreciate waking up at 6 every morning for extra magic hours and staying in the parks til midnight! Go easy on the guy! ;)
No matter what, you'll have a great time!!!
Congratulations!!!!!

Yes, the resort provided the card and balloons. In fact, I didn't even request them. If you want to have something special sent to the room, I would call the resort and speak to someone (probably in room dining) about arranging something. I'm sure you could even secretly provide part of the surprise. Other than cakes, you can have chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate Mickeys, champagne, wine and so on magically appear in your room.

GL! I hope you find something special for your future hubby!

Tink774 said in a previous post "You could try working with the Pixies at http://www.giftsofalifetime.com/. They're not affiliated with WDW, but it looks like they can still pull off some cool surprises in the parks and in the area! Good luck!" and i think that they could pull off something magical for you too:thumbsup2
