Hi. We really want to cruise Disney and this fall looks like our best choice. Anyone have any idea on what to expect weather wise in September???? I'm afraid it might be hurricane season????:hyper:

This one might get moved, but I'll put my 2 cents in.

I love September. First, it's always much cheaper. The weather is beautiful. It's still warm.

Hurricanes are always a concern, but if there is something out there the captain will sail around it. You may go to a different port etc..

I would recommend September. We've sailed 4 different times in September.

Depending on which sailing you are on, I might be joining you. Ourfirst cruise was September and it was perfect, warm not hot, no hurricanes just heaven. Hope you have a Wonder fultime.

Yes, it is hurricane season.

We sailed last september..middle of the month. Weather was perfect...very very very warm, no rain, smooth seas every day.

We loved it, and would definately sale at that time of year again.

September is great. Our first cruise ever was on the Magic in October and we had fabulous sailing weather. The next year we took a competitor's cruise (a-hem!) and had great weather as well. You'll just sail around any weather problems, as MO said...

Have a MAGICally WONDERful time!

I will be on the Sept. 26th Wonder cruise and I'm not worried, bad weather can happen almost anytime Hope to see someone then, happy cruising!

We cruised last September, 4 nights. Not one drop of rain, no hurricanes in sight. Like the PP stated the captain will sail around it if one is out there.
We got a ridiculously great rate for September which was why we did it. I say do it!

Finally I have found someone else going on the cruise at the same time as me.

We will be on the Wonder for our first cruise (of course it took Disney to get us to take a cruise). We can't wait...We visit WDW often and this should add to our appreciation of Disney.

OUr family sailed in September 2002 and we were right near a hurricane and it was FANTASTIC......Ok so you think I am crazy the captain kept us in the sun the whole time but you could see the clouds in the distance and it was an amazing thing to see. We had some wind have a pic of myself standing in the front of the glass on the front of the ship and everything is flapping every where.....When we did get a bit of rain it reminded me of an automatic car wash where the ship went through it and you were right out.

A girl I woked with at the time sailed a week or so after us and the ship was sent to Puerto Rico because of a hurricane durring her cruise and she had a wonderful time as well.

I loved seeing it as close as we did it was something to remember and I have some terriffic pictures of a storm in the distance
