September Bermuda Excursions

What excursion suggestions would you have while visiting Bermuda? Visited there years ago but hubby hasn't been...remember the island as safe and very pretty! Ship excursions or planning on your own? Thank you for your help.

I was to Bermuda off the Magic in 2018. I had also visited the island for a week back in 2012.
DH and I went on our on to Horseshoe Bay Beach on our own. Plenty of shuttles running back and forth all day, very easy. Chair and Umbrella rentals available, plus bathrooms and snack bar (and regular bar for cocktails).
If you go make you head down beach towards the big rocks. See photos

We did an island tour that went to Lighthouse, Hamilton and St. George. It was a long Day but a good tour.

There is also a lot to do where the ship docks. There is a fort there and shops etc.

I am sure you will get more advice from others. Have a fantastic cruise.
I will be on a cruise this November out of NYC stopping in Bermuda, Tortola and ending in San Juan. I can’t wait to visit Bermuda again.

I second the Horseshoe Bay recommendation if you are at all beach people. It’s famous for a reason and very easy/inexpensive to do on your own. Is it just the two of you? Most of my experiences are with smaller kids, too.

I adore Bermuda! Such a beautiful island and always felt incredibly safe. We also have visited in September and it is hot and perfect for a beach day!
Our last trip we were in port for 3 days so each day we went to a different beach - Horseshoe, Warwick and Elbow. We did each of these on our own and used the bus. I bought tokens at a desk inside a building right next to the ship. Always felt safe on public bus. We did use the shuttle back to the ship for Horseshoe because it was the day we were leaving port and I didn't want to run any risks of it taking too long.

One evening we went to Hamilton for their Harbor Nights event and it was fun! You'll have to check this year's schedule to see if it will be operating when you are there. We took the ferry over, super convenient and right next to the ship. Even if Harbor Nights isn't offered, I enjoyed walking around and shopping Hamilton.

The only excursion we bought was offered by the cruise line but I purchased it direct from the vendor because it was cheaper. I used Restless Native and booked their sunset cruise. Can't recommend it enough! We have a cruise booked for October and are planning on booking their daytime tour this time.
