I CAN NOT WAIT!! This will be our first time ever at Disney! We are going ofr our honeymoon. Our wedding date is August 31st which is a Friday and then our plane takes off Monday the 3rd for Disney. Ok so my Fh is not as happy about going as I am because he wanted to go to Alaska but there was now way we could afford that so he said we can go whereever well the next day I made our reservations with Disney. I could not pass it up with the free dinning. I also made sure to tell them when I called to make the reservation that it is going to be our honeymoon and I also told them when I made our dinning reservations which are as follows: Tuesday night Garden grill, Wednesday night Spoodles, Thursday night Captin Jacks. If anyone as any tips on these resteraunts I would love to hear them!! We are going to be staying at All-Star Movies while we are there. I could only afford to do 2 days worth of park tickets but I did get the park hoppers on top of it. I have read the whole unoffical guide to Walt Disney world and made a spread sheet for those two days and am hoping to hit a handfull of things in all the parks. We are most likley not going to see anyshows except the fireworks at Epcot and the Kingdom. I feel as though Im a Disney Fanatic without ever having gone there. My FH is a little nervous about fitting on the rides he is 6'9, but the thread I started in here in the theme park area told me most likley there is only a few rides he can not do. Thats all I have for now and will keep you updated!!!:bride:  :earboy2:

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! I (and two work friends) will be at Pop from the 3rd to the 6th and looking forward to low crowds (I hope) and great food! My advice would be to add another day to those hoppers if you can possibly afford it; you will want more park time. Or maybe not, as it's your honeymoon!! :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Thanks!!! I was thinking about changing to POP but I dont know if I want to hassel with it. I also was thinking of adding another day but fiqured I can always go back and can use that last day to shop and sight see maybe do the mini golf game thats included!

Congrats on your upcoming wedding and honeymoon:cool1:. My DH and I honeymooned at Disney in Sept. 1997, it was his 1st time. We had a great time. We went last year during free dining in Sept. and we are going back this year the week after you. If you want to add a day at the parks, look into taking off the park hopper option - it is something like $45 extra per ticket. We are trying the base tickets this year (we usually only visit 1 park a day) and we saved over $300 by taking off the hopper option. The only reason we park hop is to have dinner at Epcot, but for a $300 savings we have found other places to have dinner (like at some of the resorts). Good luck with your planning, and have a great time.

THANKS!!! I was thinking of taking the park hopper off and doing Magic Kingdom one full day but I belive when I made my plans the site said I had to have park hopper on all days.. We might just do shopping and wandering that day. Oh man I cant wait lol all I can think now is Disney this and Disney that lol.

If you want to take off the hoppers you can call CRO (800-828-0228) and they can do it for you. Just an idea, I know its not for everyone. Like I said we are trying this for the 1st time this year.

update!!!! I just registered with Disney Honeymoon!!! IM SO EXCITED!! I guess people can not start viewing it till i get my gift card and activate the site. Any ever done the honeymoon registry with Disney?? Do actully get anything off your list?

Congrats on your wedding. You will have a blast. As some of the previous posters have said, I think I would cancel the hoppers and add an extra days ticket on. We decided to go w/ base tickets this year as well and saved $200. Good luck and I hope you have an amazing wedding and honeymoon!

Ok so I will arrive at 6:45 according to my ticket to Disney. Is there ever a time the magic express and check-in can not happen because it is too late? I am just worried about arriving to late to get to magical express and check-in. I know I have read places that say if you arrive late to get your own bags but do i really need to do this or do you think they could arrive some time that night? Anyone have experiance arriving this time at night? thanks!!

Ok I thought I would also include my plans for the trip:

Day 1 arrive at 7pm so eat dinner maybe planet hollywood and then wonder

Day 2 Animal Kingdom in the morning then quick lunch then Mgm in the afternoon Dinner @ Garden Grill followed by Wishes nightime spectaculer

Day 3 Magic Kingdom in the Morning quick late lunch then Epcot Dinner @ Spoodles followed by Illuminations

Day 4 Sleep late then maybe mini golf followed by downtown Disney the rest of the day Dinner @ Captin Jacks and then maybe a movie

Day 5 breakfest @ Chef Mickeys then more wandering till have to leave

Ok update to my times!!! I got a letter earlier this week about Disney putting me on a flight that wouldnt get me there till 10pm!!! instead of 7pm. So I called to see if I could get on an earlier one and guess WHAT I got on one where I would get there at 3pm!!!!!!!!!! OMG im so happy that mean a couple extra hours to wonder1!!!! OK please let me know what you think of my plans! Im a first timer and have done a ton of research and found a handful of rides in each park i want to see I fiqured I do about 2-3 rides each park that would leave me a little time to wonder in stores if I want to other wise I will save that for Thursday....
