September 24th 2021 - 3-Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral (HOTHS)

As a reminder I believe PCR testing for the under 12 can test starting September 21st to be at the 3 day before sailing date. Remember to input all your results into the Safe Passage website. Also a good idea to bring all test results and even your vaccination card with you just in case. They probably won’t ask for it but I wouldn’t want to chance not sailing cause I didn’t bring it.

Safe passage offers a testing kit that can be mailed out to you if you would like to go that route.

https://disneycruiselineblog.com/20...OU-9b6GyPjUKQ2Bw8odBSloS-Mud7rLXDSNxc4C_cRy4I
IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Guests who turn 12 within 5 weeks of embarkation are permitted to sail but will be required to follow testing protocols, which include providing proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result (paid for by the Guest) taken between 3 days and 24 hours before their sail date. This test should be a rapid PCR test or lab-based PCR test. Rapid antigen tests will not be accepted. Additionally, they will also be required to take a COVID 19 test administered by Inspire Diagnostics at the terminal before boarding, per recently updated CDC guidance.

Wanted to share my find. So I have been looking for something to hang on our fish outside our stateroom since we can’t hang our fish extender. No exchanges are happening. I found these jointed felt Halloween characters at dollar tree. I got the witch one. It is light and folds up nice and small. I am able put it in a folder to keep it flat. I added a longer string to make sure it fits over the fish. :goodvibes

Just some thoughts. As we get closer to sailing I can’t help but be anxious about the testing. I am sure you all are too. Reading here on the boards of people saying they had been denied boarding cause they got a positive test. They are vaccinated and did their own testing even that morning getting a negative result but then testing positive at the port. Being denied a second test. Disney should take a new sample to test again. The guest then goes test that same day somewhere else and test negative. I would so hate to be there in the same situation. We are flying down that day for the cruise and if one of us test positive. :sad1: I can only think that then we can try testing again at the airport testing site and see what results we get. If it is negative, we sure would be upset but we can at least plan to rent a car and do something in Florida. We can find a cheap hotel somewhere and maybe go to Disney Springs, I don’t know something.

If anyone is denied boarding be it a positive test or something else please post of your experience. I’m sure others would like to hear how it went and what you did after you left the port.

Let’s all please put out good vibes into the universe that all guests on this sailing get a negative test result and can have a great cruise! :hippie:

Here is the thread that has me thinking.

We're suffering from the same anxiety over being denied boarding at the port. We've been taking precautions over the last 2 weeks to avoid any possibility of contact, but still worry about a false positive test result. There's nothing anyone can do but hope for the best. We still won't be able to relax and enjoy this cruise because even if we are able to board, we'll already be worrying about testing 4 days later for the 2nd of our B2B cruises. If we make it through to boarding the 2nd cruise, then we'll finally be able to relax and enjoy our vacation. Hoping for Pixie Dust for everyone!

Was waiting for our stateroom assignment but now waiting for our luggage tags to arrive. Looks like we might have to have them tagged when we arrive.
