September 22, 2012 Fantasy Eastern "From Fantasyland to the Fantasy"

Hi gang- just stopping by to say Happy Memorial Day!

I'm still not feeling great yet and we are down to one computer for the time being! So trying to get back into the swing of things! Lots of great info coming out on the Fantasy the last couple of weeks! Super exciting!

We just booked our room at Hilton Bonnet Creek for the 4th of July week. We won't be in the parks, as it is for Savannah's dance Nationals. But we are really excited to check out this hotel!

Heading out in the morning (actually today, considering the time!) to the Port of Tampa. DH and I are sailing on the Inspiration to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary! So excited for a few days of relaxation

Also, an update on my DH - He did fracture 2 of his vertebrae slightly. He is in pain, but managing quite well. Things are definitely better than they were a couple of weeks ago, but we still have a long road ahead. This cruise will do him some good (me as well!). Words can't express how grateful we are for the prayers, thoughts, and pixie dust sent our way. Thank you so much! Have a wonderful week and I'll post when we get back

Found us back on page three. So here is a bumb to move us forward so more newbies can find us with ease. We all know that this is going to be the best cruise of all the cruses in 2012.

I hope this note finds everyone well and knee deep in plans for a wonderful summer full of adventure. Me I am going to be working all summer and really have no exciting plans. Flying to Arizona to visit family for a week. I do plan for some down time this summer mostly on the week-ends. So what does everyone else have planed?

We are busy this week as it is my daughter's dance recital week. She has dress rehearsals and shows pretty much the whole week.

After that we can start looking forward to our stay at the Hilton Bonnet Creek @ WDW. We'll be there for several days over the 4th of July holiday for my daughter's national dance competition.

Then our big plans to close out the summer is our cruise on the amazing Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas. We are really looking forward to this!!

We are at home. Our friend is still unresponsive and on a vent for now. However, she tried to fight them when they tried to draw blood for the lab. I see that as a positive sign that in time she may be ok. The recovery for her will not be easy. She will need many prayers and lots of support.

Well I am going to go to bed as I am needing to go to work in the morning. Got lots to get done.


I just need to keep remembering that we are one day closer. Man O Man do I ever need a DISNEY Fix!!!!

Thank you for the prayers.

We heard at about 2 AM that she was moved to ICU but was still on the vent and unresponsive. It is looking better that she may recovery physically but the mental recovery will be much harder.

She has several pain disorders that the physicians have not been able to get under control. She lost her father recently and her mother's health is failing. Put that together with the normal stresses of life and I can see where she would feel overwhelmed.

She will need everyone to keep her in their thoughts and prayers. She has much recovering left. Got to get myself together and get to the office. I will update later tonight after I get home.

Thank you, especially for the Pixie dust. When she wakes up I will let her know. She is a Disney fan as well. Maybe she needs to take a Disney vacation but her partner is currently unemployed. Just to add to the stress.

We are sailing August 9th! I can't wait! Two months from tomorrow!!! We'll try to keep things under control so you can enjoy your cruise later in the month!!

I updated post one with the most current photo of the Fantasy. It hasn't changed much, but the Celebrity ship is gone. It would be nice if they'd move the web cam a little so we could see a little more of the ship.

She really is not really to admit that there are issues which need to be addressed. And the roller coaster ride begins again. I just hope that maybe this time someone can get to her and help her to understand. It is now in GOD's hands and she must do the work to recover completely. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

No big plans for the summer. DH and I just got back from a cruise to celebrate our 10 year anniversary...it was wonderful! Otherwise, kids are busy with preschool and summer camp for the summer and I will be transitioning from work-at-work to work-at-home sometime in July (hopefully!). DH is recovering slowly but surely...every day is a better one
