September 22, 2012 Fantasy Eastern "From Fantasyland to the Fantasy"

You will love POR my wife and I have stayed many times, the Royal Rooms look great from the pictures I've seen!

Awesome, we are very excited to try a new place!! :goodvibes

you and hubby to be are going to have great time here. i will be staying here before the cruise. I wil also be staying in a royal room. Will you have a dinning plan ? even though i wil be only staying one night i got one.:thumbsup2

Yay!! The Royal Rooms look so cool! We aren't doing the dining plan, because we tend to snack a lot instead of sitting down for meals :goodvibes

We are getting married and staying at the Swan and Dolphin prior to the cruise, problem is DCL doesn't do transfers there. So we need to either grab the transfer from Boardwalk or the Yacht & Beach Club...which do you think would be easiest or do you think it would be the same?

I don't know if i should be ticked off or just dispointed. United changed my flight from Lax to mco> Instead of arriving early morning i will not be arriving until late afternoon around three. I scan still go to Mickey's party and have dinner with cinderella and her friends. I wondering if should forget about the one day basic ticket and just buy the speical ticket i understand that i can get into MK around four. My dinner resvervation is for five fifteen. What do you guys think should i be ticked off or just dispointed that i can't go to the studios by the way i don't have the three hundered dollar change fee. Eight hours at Lax at least they have a starbucks.:sad2::mad:

Personally, I would just get the tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. We have gone both to this one and to the Christmas Party and have shown up just after four o'clock every time and had no problems getting in. Its definitely a drag that you won't be arriving until later in the day but you'll still have a blast at the party, most of the rides are walk on or a ten minute wait! The photo ops are great and you'll be able to get a picture with your family and all the dwarves together. We have a great time when we go. Enjoy!

Thanks and it's just myself so it will not be a big deal. I have ME so i don't have to worry about my checked bag and i can then get right to my room to get cleaned up and changed. What united did stinks but unless i have the change fee there isn't anything that i can do about it. Besides i should feel lucky that i even get to go to the magic kingdom and then cruise. Now i wonder what i'm going to do for eight hours in Lax that's not even time time to go to disneyland i wish. I don't have a drivers lic if i did i could at least go to downtown disney. at least i'll have some extra money to spend. I hear that durring the party they have great stuff to buy. hope you had a good easter i didn't have to cook had dinner with DBF mom. see you realy soon

What a bummer! did you call United? is their any other flights with United that might get you in earlier? if so you might be able to plead your case and have them move you without any cost to you.
You bought the ticket thinking your going to arrive at one time and now they changed the flight times on you :sad2:

:welcome:

I see more and more people are joining us.

We're waiting for menus from the non-rotational nights. Wondering if Captain's Gala, etc will be any different.

I've also read (sure others have) there's no character breakfast. Our kids will be so disappointed. But on the plus side, I don't have to worry about running out of the breakfast to make our brunch reservation. It always seems that no matter what day I book brunch, it's the same as the character breakfast.

Glad you got that worked out. We'll be resting up that Friday so the little ones can stay up until midnight for the party-- plan on being there at 4:00 PM. Maybe dressed as pirates, not sure.

Still debating whether we should do a park on Thursday or just hang out at the resorts. Youngest wanted to see Harry Potter, but when she found out there were Dreamworks things there- she's said, "No way! I won't be a Dreamworks spy!" Ever since she decided it was Dreamworks vs Disney, and she was picked as the Rebel Spy on the new Star Tours-- "Dreamworks spy" has been her biggest insult.

That is too funny!

We went to Harry Potter last fall and it was absolutely fantastic! DH and DD weren't Potter fans (DD is now) but they both were in awe of the theming of that area and the Forbidden Journey ride. I highly recommend it - I will say, the ride was so incredible that it literally brought tears to my eyes with all the amazing effects.

I love my Disney, but have to give kudos to Universal on that ride for SURE!

Whatever you decide to do on Thursday, enjoy!
