September 2012, When to book Hotel? Help & Advice

Hi Guys,

We will be coming to Florida for the first time in September this year . However, we have only booked our flights up to now, and we were hoping someone would be able to give us some advice about when to book our hotel at Disney world.

We missed the dining plan for 2012 and have been waiting for it to come back on. We were hoping someone may be able to offer some advice based on previous years offers?

If we were able to get the dining plan or another offer we would be looking in the moderate range hotels, but if not we will be looking at the value range hotels.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Im no expert so Im sorry I cant give you much advice other than we had considered this year but when we realised how much we would save putting it off till 2013 with free dining we had no choice, we are in a deluxe now with DDP compared to a value resort, possibly off site with no DDP.

I know its a long time away and at first I was a little upset but the excitement is still there for me and Im enjoying my planning!

Thank you for your reply- We had thought about this but we have already booked our flights so now were just trying to find the best time to book a hotel for our stay.

Ideally if anyone has knowledge of whether or not any more hotel offers will be available for 2012, then that would be great.

If you're talking about free dining, I'm afraid you've already missed the booking window for this year's September offer. However, Disney does currently have a room discount offer available for September dates.

Honestly, based on past experiance I would book it now, they fill up really quickly. I think you missed the dining offer but call disney and maybe you can get a percent off your room offer, i got a discount on my modertate room in sept.
They really fill up and if you wait you might not be able to get in where you want to, you only have to leave a one night deposit and you can call back and add on any deals they are offering as they come up, just keep checking, and at least you will know you have the hotel room you want..
