September 2011 vs. Spring 2012--Budget Reasons

I'm newish here...our last two trips were to Disneyland, haven't done WDW as a family yet and poking around here recently, I'm starting to think this fall would be best for our family as far as crowds and potential savings.

Can you help me with discount possibilities in order to convince DH that this fall would be better overall?

Will there likely be dining codes or deals for kids stay free or discounts on hotels? I'm sorry, I'm so new I'm having a hard time knowing where to start!

Kids stay and play free codes are already available for this fall. Since kids always stay free anyway, this is really just free tickets for the kids under 10 years old.

There is also a room only discount code out for the general public and another for Disney Visa card holders. The amount of the discount depends on the type of resort that you book. Villa resorts have the biggest discount. Value resorts have the smallest.

AAA always has room and package discounts. January is Disney month at AAA and your local agent will probably have additional incentives for you to book with them right now.

There was a free dining code for September but it had to be booked by 12/20/10. So that ship has already sailed. We might see it again but I never count on anything as far as Disney is concerned.
