Geez, you would think that they would upgrade their "unofficial cruise director". But NO..............we are still in the same stateroom 2534. No changes for us.

I like my deck 7 inside stateroom just fine myself. We stayed in a verandah room the 1st cruise we ever took and everytime we opened the verandah door WHOOSH out went all the cold air. Plus no upgrade means more $$$$$ to spend. We didn't even try for an upgrade this time because the only time we are ever in our room is to sleep and shower. But Kevin swears that for his 50th b'day we WILL be in the Walt or Roy with the whole famdamly (us, kids, his mom and maybe-gasp-grandkids by then). We have a few years to plan for that one still

Ah, but how many people sailed on the 04 10 day christmas cruise. I know we did, and DPD did a little SURVIVIN' on that cruise that I still haven't forgotten I even have her in my vacay photos and I've never met her!

They did a concert downtown a couple weeks back.
They are appearing on the "America's Got Talent" show.

I don't know, but I am positive that if a real prize was to be given out to the ultimate Gloria Gaynor they couldn't deny her! She won fair and square, and I think everyone in Rockin Bar D was like this

Looks like Kev's GSF skirt debut will only be at the sailaway party. On Tropicalifragalisticexpealadocious night we will be in Palo. I think they would frown upon a grass skirt in there. Or maybe he could wear it over his suit??

Carol, I don't know much about the tag fairy, but I'll tell you what I do know. Tags are the quotes in color under your avatar, the only way to get those in color are to be tagged by the tag fairy. See one of PIT's posts for an example. No one knows who the tag fairy is or how one gets tagged.

I got tagged and had no clue what it was all about!!! I assume the moderators take a line from something you post and attach it to your posts. I got one early, before I ever hit 100 posts but it really wasn't fair because I think I posted on a moderators original post. It was a thread on the creative board about someone who took old shoes and bronzed them to make planters and such out of them. It was really cool, and I liked the idea that she reused old shoes. Hence my visit from the tag fairy. But come on, mentioning dog Poo ad having shoes deserving of it was bound to get me some sort of notoriety, right?

By the way, our fish extender is hanging in our truck right now (on our cabinet door), and we both keep saying WOW! iT LOOKS SO COOL! Great Job, my dh can't believe it wasn't store bought!

WOW! What a haul of goodies! Now I am confused... do the fish extenders get used for everyday utility in the cabin or are they part of a sharing game where we all contribute something to everyone elses' fish extenders in our community? IE.... where did all this "loot" come from and what was the premise? As I would not want to misunderstand and FAIL to contribute properly to the community event??

So far all I know of is we are to have some sort of fish extender decorating contest - divided into two age catagories...

you and me both mister, confused that is...or I was until i was straightened out. I too thought they were originally to be used inside the cabin for organizing whatever needed organizing but they also were hung on the outside on the fish on the door, hence the name "fish-extender", and various DISers would go around and deposit lil bits of treasure.

oh, yeah i was also told the story of the FE and how they came about and the gifting thingy is all contained in a newsletter....

wow...you guys aren't very talkative tonight...I went to get my haircut and jokingly told my hairdresser that I'd probably have 5 pages to catch up on when I got home....but I only had 1!!!!

Thanks, I wondered why some had colored sayings in their Avatars and others didn't. Guess you just have to say the right thing at the right time.

Glad you like the extender. We have really enjoyed making them for everyone.
