Chances are improving that we will finally be able to take our family cruise and our grandkids first cruise. Had to add a new grandson in the time it has taken to wait for cruising to restart. Looking forward to starting a fish extender group when we finally have confirmation that we can cruise this September.

Are there many opportunities to meet people? Going with a couple of family members but kind of third wheeling so looking forward to finding some other people to hang out with
I've been reading that there are plenty of adult only areas but is there much to do for solo travelers?

They actually put a lot of focus on single travelers on DCL. They will have events listed in the Navigator that is for solo travelers. I have not traveled solo however, my wife and I like to meet people and find that most people on DCL are extremely friendly and we have created many friendships during our cruises. There is so much to do and so many people to meet that I am sure you will have a great time and wonder at the end how it went by so fast.

The Navigator seems to be mentioned everywhere as the solution to everything lol definitely will be keeping an eye on that and from your response and some other articles I'm pretty optimistic I can find some other friends and have a fun time!

Looks like we will be joining this 9/11-9/15 cruise. We won't know for sure until next Thursday if my daughter can get off work...so fingers crossed!

Just booked this 4 day cruise. Not sure how this will work since it has been 10 years since I’ve been on DCL. Me and wife are going so no kids this time. They are in college now. Man how time flies!
