DH told me to book flights on miles so that is giving me at least as good indication he wants to go.

Now, take care with the buying extra luggage. A friend, who shall be nameless, paid for an extra bag, but didn't realise, nor did she check, that it was only an extra bag, the allowance stayed the same. She had to pay an extra £200+ at check in!!! I can't remember if it was Sleazyjet or Ruinair though. We did buy an extra bag which did include the extra 23 Kg with BA from Heathrow to Barcelona though and will do that again.

That is a total scam!!!!

Yay, I did meet you a few times, mainly with Mandy. We didn't meet too many Disers because we didn't go to any tastings. But it was just so nice saying Hi to familiar faces around the ship.

I am considering shipping a box to the port, will probably work out cheaper!

Tho' right now, I am so wishing I HADN'T booked the maiden Dream cruise. No Palo & no Remy reservations for love nor money - my DD Sophie is going to be SO disappointed...

We really wanted to wait until 2012 to do the Fantasy as DH thinks it will be fun to do a maiden voyage. The timing is much better for us as it is spring break 2012.

Sorry you could not get any Palo or Remy bookings. I am sure it will be the same on the Fantasy though the bookings are much slower according to the the DCL agent I spoke with. I transferred our ressie from the LA to Vancouver trip with the on board credit for this trio.

How about the maiden in April on the Fantasy instead? We could celebrate your birthday early!!

Welcome aboard!! I think what Karen means is that probably most of the gold and platinum members took the reservations for both Palo and Remy on the maiden voyage.
