Sept Room Rates

According to Mousesavers, room rates for September were just released. Sample is value resorts at $55/night.

I just got off of the phone with them and the cost for a standard room at WL for 7 nights was $132 plus tax. Overall it didn't work for me.....cost was $59 mpre than the 5+2 package if I get passes through them...not worth changing for me

There were no rooms available at POP using this code!! My cm said it was $58 for value.

I booked a standard room at AKL using the Sept code for 119/night!!

Call back about Pop Century. I just got the code applied to my existing reservation about 45 minutes ago!

Grand total for 8 nights.....$491!

I did call back and get a different cm and found out the rate is available but the maximum stay is 10 nts. Because I am staying 14 nts it came up unavailable. When I try to split the stay because the season is changing after a couple of days I can't make 2 ressies work for me. I am thinking about calling back and changing to 3 ressies and getting a total of 12 days at the AZZ rate and 2 days at AAA rate and wait for codes for October. If no AP rates come out for Sept. this may be my best bet.

Does someone care to help me figure out the best choice. My AAA rate currently is $68.68 incl taxes. The AZZ rate is $61.88 and the AAA rate for regular season is $94. I am staying Sept 27-October 11.

So what I have done is this:

Existing reservation: 14nts @ $68.68 incl tax = 961.52
Sept.27-Oct.11

Changed to: Res 1....2nts @ $61.50 = 123.00 code AZZ
Sept.27-29

Res 2...10nts @ $61.50 = 615.00 code AZZ
Sept.29-Oct.9

Res 3....2nts @ $94.00 = 188.00 AAA rate
Oct.9-11

For a Total of: $926.00...we have 2 rooms at this rate.
Savings of: 35.52

Seems like alot of work for $35.52 x 2 rooms. However with exchange that's almost $50.

I am hoping for a rate better than the $94 for AAA which will save us even more and we still have the AZZ rate which is a value season rate for most of our October stay.

The only thing I could see being better is if an AP rate comes out for Sept. that has a 14 day max. stay. Then I would get a value rate for my whole stay.

I just called and had the rate applied to my existing reservation at POP...saving $22 (the ressie is only for a long weekend) for 3 minutes of my time!!
