Just found this thread.

Living Seas Pairings Sept 28
Senses Party Sept 29
Sweet Sunday Sept 30

eva & B'rer Karen--if you, by chance, can't make the Italy Pairing we'd love to buy the reservation from you! How early did you snag them?

Deb

I was on the phone precisely at 7am on August 6th. I was on hold for maybe 5-7 minutes. So I would say I had this ressie at 7:10 am. You'll see I also have Le Cellier that is now sold out. That was the first one I made the ressie for and the CM said "that is going fast" so it was almost sold out at that point. Some of these go really early the first day.

OK guys, I need your help! What is everyone planning on wearing to PFTS?!! I just started looking for a new outfit and I'm having a hard time deciding what to get. Any suggestions?

Cheers!
Michelle

 Less than 6 weeks to go! WooHoo!!!

This is a great idea! But I think I'm going to try green beads and beading cord and twist a Mickey head.

We're doing a NOLA DIS mini meet on Oct 25th at Epcot and I was looking for little ideas for the gals (&spouses).

SHERYL- Quit reading here, or else you won't be surprised!

I've found lime green feather boas for us gals, and light up wine glasses (green, of course) for all of us, some blinky flashy magnet pins for the guys(hula girls, I think) and some glowy bracelets and necklaces for the kiddos. I have an embroidery shop so I'm making little totes with a logo to hold everything. I think some charms would be cute to go with that too!

Thanks for the great Idea! If you see the feathered flock stop us and say something!

Did you really think I would be able to stop reading??!!!! Well people will notice the crazy NOLA flock won't they!! You know our guys are going to want to crawl in hole & hide don't you? ;) I think I'll have to leave my boa in the room for the PFTS, I don't think I have anything that goes with a lime green boa! :rotfl:

I'm planning on a black/white skirt and either a black sweater or red dress shirt.
I will probably wear the same thing for both of the ones I'm going to. But, I'm doing laundry in the middle of the week so its ok.

For the South African Wine Event, I'm wearing Browns and prolly some of my jewelry from Africa b/c well I don't have events appropriate to wear it often.

Can you tell my mind wanders a lot while I'm working and thinking about Disney?

I just need to find comfy dress shoes. At work, I have to dress nice, but wear steel toe boots that look like men's shoes due to active construction in some of my projects and I personally don't want to bring those to disney and I don't think my green Croc Athens are appropriate. Off to Zappos to figure out what to wear.

One Word...Spandex! My clothes fit just fine going in. But coming out was another story. Good thing we had the walk back to BWV. DH was scared he would have to roll me to the International Gateway.

At least you toes would be safe for the running of the fools at the beginning of the evening! That is what DH calls the mad dashers who have to get a table right away.

And there is the big question of the day!!! I bought some new shoes (slides I guess you'd call them) thinking they'd be pretty comfortable, but I wore them today and fell out of them. Back to the drawing board. LOL.

I have no idea what to wear either. I wonder if I can lose the five pounds I put on this summer in the next five weeks? ;)

BTW, here is pic of me and Rob at Artist Point last October. Maybe I'll wear a name tag that says "Bichon Barb" or something equally corny like that.

When I purchased my tickets for PTS the CM read the spiel about dress, needing a ticket into EPCOT - and then she said that there will NOT be tables to sit down at, there will be tables to stand by, as this is like a coctail party - I took it with a grain of salt as the last 2 years there were more than enough tables to move around - but I now understand that panic rush!! :rotfl2:

I just want to be first in line for the ice wine before it runs out!! :rotfl2: (last years Ice wine wasnt Innisken, and didnt taste as good, and the man pouring it recognized me, and wouldnt give me a 3rd glass!! :rotfl2: )

Also, the most common dress is a DISNEY themed one!! I really bummed I didnt buy one!! Hallmark has come out with some cute new crocs!! ;)

Oh no. Please don't tell me I have to go out and buy one of those itchy polyester Cinderella dresses! ;)

Okay, forget the pic I posted above. Look for a woman in THIS dress except with Birkenstocks. Oh, and no name tag, because I don't want to make the outfit tacky.

:rotfl: :lmao: I agree the name tag might just push it over the top!!!

Honestly & unfortunately, I probably will be wearing my birkenstocks, hopefully with a cute outfit! It's pretty darn tough to do cute, when birkies are the only thing you can walk in!!!:scared:

We are staying at the Swan, so we'll be walking over. No way am I wearing anything with a heel.

These are the shoes that I bought but keep falling out of for some reason. Too bad, because they are really soft. Oh, mine are more of a pewter and not silver like this. (Can you tell I don't feel like working this afternoon? )

Too bad, those are cute! I'm now hunting on the net for cuter birkenstocks! (Can you tell I'm off today, but doing everything I can to avoid cleaning the house? :lmao: )

Yes a pretty princess dress is in order & please wear a really large name tag with it!!!

:rotfl2: OOPS - that is what it sounded like from my post isnt it??

The Disney Store had a cute dark navy blue dress, with a matching Hawaiian type shirt for the guys - 3 years ago maybe? Last year I think there was a red matching type outfit from the DisneyStore - it wasnt as popular!!

Sun dresses, blouses and skirts were most popular!!

:rotfl2: I wear crocs with my outfit - as they are the only shoe besides my running shoes that dont cause extreme pain with the plantar fascia !sp)

There are a few that wear dressy shorts too... I'll see if I have any crowd pictures...

Thanks for the picture! Here's a recent one of me & Steve...

We'll have our 3 teenagers with us, too, so we'll be hard to miss. (You can take a look at the TR's in my signature to see who we are.) I'm still hunting for the perfect PFTS outfit - with spandex! :goodvibes I've given up hope on losing any weight before our trip. Instead, I've been practicing my power eating. :lmao: I'll be ready for the Food & Wine Fest!!! :thumbsup2

Cheers!

Well I think we will be a good looking group! (Except for our footwear of course! )

Mlill, that's awesome that you are bringing your kids. We have two boys--one will be 14 in November and is going into 9th grade and one who will be 12 in January and going into 6th. My husband has a meeting in Orlando on the 5th, and so I decided to join him and make it into a getaway for the two of us. :cloud9: It's not usually a big deal when we do this, but the kids know where we are going, so they are little miffed.

We've never been to the PFTS and are totally looking forward to it.
