We absolutely enjoyed our Disney Fantasy Eastern Cruise.

We used DCL bus to PC from POR and arrived at 1:15.

Had a balcony stateroom no. 10010 on deck 10 forward port side, loved being one floor below deck 11 and close to the quiet cove adult only area and Senses Spa( we had rainforest room day pass) It was a short walk to the ice cream and drink station too.(we would probably pick a 5E aft extended balcony if we get to choose the room ourselves instead of GTY, we missed the big balcony and the view, I think the aft stateroom was bigger too)

We had brunch at Palo and late dinning. We loved all our meals. We had breakfast at Cabanas and Enchanted Garden.

My DH got a sinus infection and he had to go to the on-board medical clinic. They were nice and the Doctor was great and gave him meds to get better.

We did the Under Two Flags tour at St. Martin, the St. John Island tour at St. Thomas. We liked them for a first time visit. ( it was nice having cell service at St. Thomas with AT&T)

We always enjoy Castaway Cay at Serenity Bay. The ribeye steak and the grilled fish was great at Cookies Too.

Loved riding the Aquaduck!

The at sea days were great too.

The CM service was wonderful.

Can't wait to go again!

Would be glad to answer any questions, if I can.

Also, thanks to everyone on this board for all the information and pics that helped me with planning this great cruise.

Glad you had a great time, although sorry to hear about your husband's sinus issues. Hope it didn't ruin his vacation too much. We leave on the Fantasy this Saturday and are so excited. We did the western last year.

What were the high points of the Western itinerary ?

We love the three ports, each for different reasons. At Grand Cayman, it's got to be Stingray City. At Costa Maya, we did the ruins and although the bus ride was long and hot, the ruins are fascinating. And to realize there are still so many pyramids still uncovered.... Cozumel is a beach day for us and we love Paradise Beach, although I've heard many good things about Nachi Cocum (I will never recommend another popular beach whose name starts with Mr. because of a bad experience we had with our credit card ten years ago.) Last year, it rained when we were in Cozumel, so we stayed on board and enjoyed the empty ship. It's amazing how many times you can ride the Aquaduck before you get bored :-D

We are doing the Western in December and are in an aft cabin on deck 8 And reading about the vibration issues it concerns me about sleeping.
I see that this cabin (10010) is still available for a $500 upgrade fee.
it will just be my DW & I so I was curious about how quiet this cabin was.
did you find a lot of noise in the hall or people gathering by the stairs & elevator?
We are late sleepers so just trying to see if it is worth the extra $$$.

Just FYI the original post was from 2013 so their experience may be very different... or they may not remember.

Ahh, that explains it. I hadn't heard of St. Maarten and St. Thomas being on the same Eastern Caribbean itinerary (at least not in a while), so I was a bit confused. I also thought the Fantasy didn't do Rainforest Room day passes anymore (just length of cruise). But they did back in 2013!

Ohhhhh, breakfast in Enchanted Garden … excited for that. (I love that dining room)

Going on Bermuda cruise in two weeks.

Thanks for sharing!
