Mary forewarned me that we were getting the calendars....:faint: Just how many of them can one person possible need? :rotfl2: We haven't received one yet in the mail......I hope it's only 1 per family, not one per contract or we're in trouble. :faint: :rotfl2:

Cindy - um 8 kids - is that anything like one adult male? :rotfl:

I have one of those too. :teeth: But, I have to say, Gary does most of the laundry, cooking, dishes around this house and cleaning, so I really can't complain (about those things at least ;) ).

Sorry to hear about your surgery. I've been there so I understand. I hope they were able to do it Laproscopically for you. Unfortunately that wasn't an option for me. :grouphug:
I'm glad you got you SSMC05 cd today and was able to enjoy that at least.

Thanks! It was done laproscopically so hopefully I will be back to "normal" soon! Today is the best I have felt yet.

Like I mentioned laproscopic was not an option for me due to prior surgeries but even thought I had to "go under the knife" and they took care of something else while they were there I was back to work in 2 weeks!

Just take it easy and don't push yourself to soon and cause yourself any problems. Don't worry the rest of the world will still be here when you are ready! :goodvibes

Good luck to all my fellow SSMC05 cruisers trying to get on SSMC06. Hope we all make it!

Thanks you guys for the suggestions - we are going to go look at some things this weekend.

No cd/dvd here or the vacation magic - we must live in a mail hole!

Absolutely not! Eight children is NOTHING like one adult male :upsidedow  :hyper: :crazy2:  :hyper2: :headache:

Hey, Karen, that same buyer bought some of my DVC/DCL merchandise.

Isn't it amazing the things that sell and the things that don't. I've been very surprised by somethings that didn't sell that I thought would have sold. (did that make sense? :rotfl2: ).

Good for you!!!

That's awesome :cheer2: My stuff hasn't been selling good lately. Maybe I should send it to you? :rotfl:

well, if something *weird* shows up soon...it's b/c a friend asked me if i'd list something for her. a pump...that a new mother would use to collect milk for her infant (didn't know if i could use the real word on the DIS) ;)

Yup, I hear ya! My best is my Pink Nintendo DS bundle pack that in the final 4 minutes went from $200 to $266!! YIPPIE! Now with that profit, maybe I'll sell the one I got for KT for Christmas! HA HA HA...sorry honey, I sold your DS on ebay!

Ok so has anyone scotch guarded (or such) their huge DVC canvas bags? We're thinking about it so we can use them on the beach and wanted to check.

ATTENTION: SSMC05 Cruisers

We have been talking about this for months now, and finally, we are going to try to start our Circle Journals for SSMC05!

You pick your own theme (because we were all on the same cruise, this could just be as easy as Favorite Photos, Favorite Activity, Yummy food, etc).

Here are some 'rules':

Each of us will buy a book that we want our CJ in (6x6, 8x8, 6 1/2 X 10 or 5x7 are preferred for easier mailing). You will come up with a SSMC05 theme for your book--it is TOTALLY up to you but be creative! You will create the first page with an introduction as well as some sort of sign-in for your book. Some people do a page where everyone can sign in with information about themselves; I've seen other variations. Do whatever you want. You will then send your journal to the next person on the list, who will do a page according to your theme. Each month you will receive a journal to add an entry to, and at the end of a year you will receive your book back, full of the experiences and wisdom of the people in our CJ group.

This is a YEAR LONG commitment, please do not sign up if you are not going to be able to make that commitment. You are committing to completing a page and sending it out by a specific deadline each month. You will be responsible for postage each month. I would suggest USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation, so that we can keep track of the CJs. If these are not commitments you are able to make, PLEASE do not sign up for this circle journal group! We are trusting you with little bits of ourselves!

I have done a few CJs in the past. I normally decorate the front and back covers - in and out. I create an introduction page about my theme and any instructions. Then, I create a sign in page (this can be as easy as just numbers and everyone signs with their name and the date they did the CJ, up to blank tags for everyone to embellish with their picture, name address, email, etc.) Then, I create a 2-page layout in my theme.

Most of the work is doing your own book initially; then it is just 2 pages per month......So is anyone interested? Send me a PM if you want to be a part of this!

Please sign up by 1/13/06, because our first mailing date will be 2/1/06. Then, the CJs need to be mailed out by the first of each month, until we receive our own CJs back.

After we have all the sign ups, I will create the mailing order and create a Yahoo group or maybe just a thread on the Community board under the craft/scrapbooking area for our CJ.

If you have any more questions, let me know. I'm going to try to get my CJ soon and start, so I can post pictures to give you guys an idea. Also, you can go to www.twopeasinabucket.com and search for Disney Circle Journal to get LOTS of ideas.

Also, when you PM me to sign up, please send me your snail mail address too, so that I can start to create the mailing order.

For those who haven't heard or didn't notice me filming as much as was possible on the 2005 Member cruise, I have made a DVD of the voyage. It is a little less than four hours long and has highlights of most of the bigger events from the cruise as well as a few smaller ones that I found time to attend.

Starting with the DIS Meet on Deck 10 and all the way through Susan Egan's Concert, the DVD captures the many activities of the SS Member Cruise 2005. A few highlights include "Ducky's" Presentation, Art Linkletter and the Pirates in the Caribbean Party where a few DISers can be seen and one shows us all how to dance!

If anyone wants a copy, PM me with your snail mail address and I'll send them out. I can't promise when I'll get to the post office but I usually don't take more than a week to get them out. Gail, your's went out Friday.

For those who will be on the 2006 Member Cruise, I will be filming again and possibly more so since Casey, my niece, will not be accompanying me. She tells me I embarrass her by filming too much. This time I'll have at least 12 hours to film with as opposed to the eight from this cruise.

Again, if you're interested, please let me know.
