Wow, only 5 weeks!! I can't wait. And, with Halloween and Thanksgiving coming up, hopefully I won't have to think about the fact that I still have to wait 5 weeks to make sure that I'm on the next member cruise.

Amy I was thinking the same thing this morning when I posted it. 5 weeks seems like a long time, but with the holidays approaching it won't be!

Had another great night in chat last night! Room 2 was rocking with Amy, Stacy, Cindy, Diana, Gail, Mary and myself.

At least last night there were enough people in the regular room that it didn't make a difference. I remember the one night when we moved and Karen said "there they go" and we ended up with more people in room 2 than the main room.

Yeah, there were a TON of people in cruise chat last night. We had a few visitors pop in & out. I did notice when I logged off that the main board was empty but there were 3 or 4 people in room #3.

Good Morning Ladies (and Gary & Chris)!
I had a great time in chat last night!
Unfortunately one of the cats decided he was bored at 4:30am and started scratching on my closet door and making all kinds of noise.
I love my cats but I want to kill them sometimes!

5 weeks will fly by like nothing. Like Amy said with Halloween and Thanksgiving December 3rd will be here before we know it!

It was a lot of fun, even though you guys kicked me out! I slept in the guest room last night, so I didn't have any middle of the night visitors waking me up! I actually slept 12 hours!! Now Bruce has Emma out on the yard raking leaves so that only leaves me with Julia! Any takers?? No, seriously, I feel a lot better this morning, especially now that I've gotten some sleep.

OK, I know that I'm probably a geek, but I just got tickets to Bon Jovi for February. They are one of my favorite bands and I just love their new stuff too.

Had another great night in chat last night! Room 2 was rocking with Amy, Stacy, Cindy, Diana, Gail, Mary and myself.

It was fun, wasn't it.

Walker and I just got home from the pediatrician. As if it's not bad enough that he had a sinus infection and an ear infection in his left ear on Wednesday, he now has another ear infection in his right ear. I don't get how this can happen when he's already on antibiotics. The pediatrician felt it's best to leave him on the antibiotic he's already started on, rather than change it. We have a followup visit with the ear, nose, throat doctor on Tuesday. I'm thinking Walker needs another set of tubes. As much as I don't want him to have surgery, I certainly don't want to battle repeated ear infection after ear infection. We had so many problems with his ears when he was little.......infections, fluid, neck problems, I certainly don't want to step backwards. Walker has never complained of ear pain, but this AM when I came home from shopping, he was screaming. Motrin took the pain away but it was tough on him until it kicked in.

Gary is off at Walker's last soccer game to pass along the gifts we bought for the coaches.

Good news is it's a gorgeous day here in Chicagoland. We need to enjoy them while we can.

5 weeks until call in date......I can't believe it's so close.

Poor Walker! Here's hoping he starts feeling better. I know you had mentioned the tubes before. Hope if that's the way you go that it helps.


It is beautiful here in Chicagoland. Just finished doing lots of running around. Having my in-laws over later to celebrate our anniversary (it was Thursday) and BIL's birthday (which is today).

50 more years and we'd be one of those couples the newspapers interview in the nursing home kind of thing.

Not to be grim about it, my grandfather passed away in his 70's with the key to the door to his shop in the lock. Better that than ending up like I used to see when I used to service equipment in the extended care places.
