I know most are readin the '06 thread, but figure I'd best cover all bases:

Food Channel!

Top of the Hour: Holidays at WDW
Next hour: Behind the Bash- Disney's 50th Celebration

I'm still waiting for my picture DVD. Hopefully it will come tomorrow! I'm looking forward to getting it. I could use a little fun. It has been a rough couple of weeks and it ended with having my gall bladder out on Monday.

Good luck to everyone who is booking on Saturday. I wish we could go. Maybe the timing will work out better for us next time.

Jenny - so sorry to hear you have been sick and needed surgery. Here's hoping you are feeling much better and enjoy the holiday season!

Chris will be very happy to hear your praise. He is a perfectionist at heart, and always worries when he does things for others that they might not like it.

Amy, tell Chris there is no need to worry!! It really is awesome!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Oh Jenny - I'm so sorry to hear that you're not 100%. Hopefully the pictures will be there soon to relive the fun we had on SSMC05.

Jenny - We hope you are healing fast!

No DVD/CD here yet - but I'm sure it will come today!

Thanks everyone! I am starting to feel better. It will be nice to be back to normal so that I can get on with getting ready for Christmas!

Amy - DVD came today! :Pinkbounc I almost thought that I would miss my mail today. We got some snow overnight, the roads were slippery and someone took out our mailbox! Luckily, since I am home, I watched for the mail lady and then dragged my body to the curb to retrieve it. I was glad that I did since I saw the package from you. I will be checking it out next!

Ok all you floor care experts (I mean hello you have dysons) - I need some advice. The new house has tons of tile floor and it's white tile. The old house had some tile - not white - but not this amount. The dog :dog2: is chocolate and he must be going bald as I can't keep up with the hair. On top of that the floor shows dirt the minute it hits. I'm in need of suggestions on what types of products to use on the tile (it's ceramic I think). Is there anything I can use that I don't then have to rinse off? The tile starts at the front of the house and continues to the kitchen in the back and ugh... the thought of daily mopping is making me want to move out.

Ideas?

Oh, I do feel for you! I have complete white tile in our bathroom. Only John & I use it and it always looks terrible 2 minutes after cleaning it. I swiffer it daily, ok, sometimes every other day or maybe two :rotfl2: I would suggest for the dog hair & dust just to swiffer it daily.

The dyson is good for getting everything off and out of the carpets. The purple dyson is for animals, but I don't think it would matter for animal hair on the tile - any of the dysons would work great. I use my dyson for the tile in the kitchen & foyer areas and it works great.

We have the Hoover Floor Mate. It is for hard floors and works good. It has a dry pick-up and also a wet scrub / dry setting. We use it on our hard wood floors and on our ceramic floors in the bathrooms. It is easy to use and it gets the job done a lot faster than doing it by hand.

We have a Hoover FloorMate too. We have linolium floors and a stone floor in our family room, and it works great for both.

I can't help you with a solution Julie, but I have made a note to myself.

When we get around to remodeling, do not, under any circumstances retile in white! No matter how beautiful the end result would be. Much to much high maintenance for me.

Can you just imagine? 8 kids, 1 dog, 2 rabbits!! Oye!! :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint:

Sorry to hear about your surgery. I've been there so I understand. I hope they were able to do it Laproscopically for you. Unfortunately that wasn't an option for me. :grouphug:
I'm glad you got you SSMC05 cd today and was able to enjoy that at least.

Thanks you guys for the suggestions - we are going to go look at some things this weekend.

Cindy - um 8 kids - is that anything like one adult male? :rotfl:

No cd/dvd here or the vacation magic - we must live in a mail hole!
