Hi everyone. Just got back from meeting Cindy for lunch and a little shopping. How great to have a cruise friend so close by! You would think it was the week before Christmas looking at the mall. All the decorations are up and it was packed with shoppers!

It's so great that you guys can get together! I wish we all lived closer! Our mall is completely decorated too. We were there Monday night and they were rolling out the snow for Santa's Workshop. My poor children are so confused. I've been trying to explain pumpkins and Halloween to them, and then there's all this Santa stuff! What does Santa have to do with Halloween, Mommy!

I knew you'd be home before I was. I saw JoAnne's on the way home and realized that Cameron needs to make an Indian costume this week for a school project. Needed to stop and get some felt.

Yep, all decorated!! I even asked Mary if tomorrow was Halloween.....by the look of the mall, one wouldn't think so.

It was nice. A little lunch, a little shopping and LOTS of chit-chat.

I just showed Gary the lips Mark sent along with Mary for me. A nice pair of red lips with that squishy stuff inside of them. I don't know why, but Gary refused to give me a big kiss when I was wearing them for him.

The kids are excited to try out their new toys tonight....Gravitrons that Mark made at the Museum of Science and Industry. I'm sure there's going to be some racing going on tonight. In fact, Gary couldn't wait.....he's playing with Walker's right now!

It was fun, Mary. We'll do it again soon!

Glad to hear you and Mary had a good time. I'm almost afaid to go to the malls because of the crowds. Nows the season to get there as soon as the stores open and try to get thru it all quick and get out while you can!
One of the malls here is a nightmare during the holidays and there are ussually several traffic accidents.
I try to avoid that place as much as possible.

It's pretty dumb because the ramp to that mall is the single most accident site in the area. Come on people, I know you are anxious to shop, but my goodness! That's all the same mall that you have to be 18 or older to shop at after 4pm. That place used to get pretty scary on friday and saturday nights.

Now I'm a huge Billy Joel fan, and I would travel anywhere for any amount of money to see him in concert! I have seen him probably about 15 times, most recently with Elton John while I was pregnant with Emma in 2003. The summer I graduated college, my best friend and I saw him 5 times over a 2 or 3 week period, both shows at Yankee Stadium and 3 shows at Giants Stadium.

I've never seen movin out though...isn't it the story of Brenda and Eddie of Scenes from an Italian Restaurant?

See, I would love to be in your area, because there are TONS of concerts. We are lucky to even get them to come to the state of Florida. Now, when I was in Chicago, everyone came there. I've seen Billy Joel 5 or 6 times. I've even flown to Chicago to see him.

I haven't seen Billy in ages , I think the last time was in Boston sith Elton.

I love Martha! I actually put my name in to get tickets to her show the week of December 5th. They are supposed to contact me next week to tell me which show I can get them for.

Oh my, what a morning!?!?!? We started off going to Emily's school for her Halloween parade and party. Then, Madison and I left to go to Target to pick up a few things. Then, at 11am, they were having a story-time and visit with at the fire station for the little ones. Madison had fun looking at the fire truck and getting treats from the firefighters. Then, we grabbed some lunch and Wendy's and Maddie is now napping. Whew!!!

Then, we'll pick Emily up at 3pm, come home, carve pumpkins and out trick-or-treating!! I just LOVE halloween!!!

Wow Amy, sounds like you've had a busy day! I hope everyone else is enjoying their Halloween. It's a beautiful day here, and I'm anxious for the girls to get up and get their costumes on so we can go trick or treating! We are just going to a few friends house, but it should be fun!

Sorry I missed chat last night.
Unfortunately my cats don't understand Daylight Savings so they woke me up at I don't even know what time yesterday morning. All I know is it was still pitch black outside but they decided it was feeding and play time so by 7pm I was feeling like it was 11pm
Hope you had a good night on chat.

Nick has already finished his trick or treating for the night. It's not the same this year. His friend that he usually goes out trick or treating with is down at Disney for the first time and they are doing MNSSHP tonight. I hope they have a blast.

I STILL have not received my CD or Castaway Club cards from DCL. I think they forgot about me.
