:cold: 37 degrees here with a high expected of 47 :cold: Hopefully, next year at this time, I'll be a lot warmer.

Lot's of errands to get done today because I'll be gone all day tomorrow at a crop. So hopefully, I'll have some pages to post when I get home!

Amy-it just sounds so exciting to me that you are getting stuff ready to sell! :Pinkbounc Lots of luck to you guys!!
We're waiting for our "cold" front coming through next week. It'll put our temps into the 70s, which will be a nice break from all the humidity. I'm looking forward to turning off my air and getting a cheaper electric bill.

Thanks for the encouragement, Diana. It's a daunting task. This is the first time that we've had to sell a house. It was easy to buy the first time, because we were going from an apt which was less than a mile away. I keep reading stuff on the budget board of tips to sell your home (get rid of clutter), yikes, we have a LOT of clutter. Luckily, we have a neighborhood garage sale on Nov 5th, so I'm going to try to get rid of LOTS of stuff.

Our plan today is to work on the house. It's amazing how we are so motivated now to fix the things that we've put off for months/years. But, now that we need to get this house ready for the market, we're busy, busy, busy getting it ready.

I've heard a lot of people say this same thing. Let's fix it up, paint, replace carpet so the new owners benefit from it. I think it's just human nature, you don't want someone to walk in and think, "gee, they couldn't have lived like this". Good thing on your side is you have a couple of months to get ready. It will work out!

46 right now, with a high of 53 for us. Lucky me, I get to sit outside in the open soccer field watching Walker's game. Worse than the cold is there is no sunshine ( :( :sunny: ). For me, that's even worse.

Off to find my winter coat! :cold: :cold:

That's part of the reason that we're bringing our real estate agent that sold us the house over next week. He's pretty honest and has helped us through the years, so I know that he'll tell us what we need to do and what doesn't need to be done.

Good Day Ladies (and Gary if you stop in)!!!
Well my weather forecast is exactly the same as Diana's since we live like 10 or 15 miles from each other.
I have a bunch of errands to run today so maybe I'll run into Diana, just need to keep an eye out for her antenna topper! :goodvibes

No amusement park for us today. :sad2: Instead we are just cleaning up, maybe play a board game or two and taking my MIL out to dinner for her birthday!
I made a scrapbook for her a couple of Christmas' ago and periodically I'll do another page or two to add to her book.

I enjoyed chatting with everyone last night. Boy I can't wait till Dec. 3rd to know if we'll be cruising again or not. I'll have to make sure to check the boards that day too, to see who I'll be cruising with!!! :cheer2: pirate:

Well TTFN!

Diana - the girls look so adorable in those photos!

Amy - oh do I hear you on fixing things up! The hardest part for me was clearning space in my cabinets which is why our storage space (rented for Matt's furniture) made it easier to just pile stuff up but now we are wondering "hmm... what's in storage". Our realtor had great ideas also! My best advice is once you list the house try to be out during showings - even if you leave when they arrive.

We are off to go shopping (my mom, dad and sister are here). Have a great weekend!

Yeah, I've heard that it is best to be out of the house. We used to have a storage unit for lots of our Christmas storage, since we don't have a lot of storage space here. But, we got rid of it early this year. So, it looks like we're going to get another one to get rid of the clutter around here, along with the garage sale and ebay selling.

No garage sale for us.....it's a bit late in the year. :cold:

But, ebay has now become my new friend. I've listed a lot of items yesterday and today. It's amazing what a little taste of what my stuff is worth can do for motivation. I have about 20 things listed right now. And, many boxes of stuff to go. :cheer2:

And you helped me a LOT! :wizard:

It was getting started that was hard. But, I had a nice friend to hold my hand through the early steps.

Thanks. :flower: :flower:

long day. left here at 7. just got home. indianapolis and bloomington, IN have the WORST road systems for getting any number of ppl anywhere quickly. what SHOULD have been a 3 hour drive was over 5....EACH WAY!

but we won.... 1/3-1/2 of the stadium was filled with buckeye fans. there were a handful of indiana fans in our section. we drowned them out! ;)

nite all....not catching up tonight. :)

Go!

Congrats to all the Sox fans on their win!

Congrats to the Ohio State fans on their win!

Lots of happy sports fans today!

Mornin' all! :cold: I got up around 5:30 this morning and looked out the window and saw......SNOW !!! It wasn't really sticking, just big, fluffly flakes. It has since stopped, but I guess in the mountains near Lake George they got 8-10 inches!! :faint:

So, I turned on the news and watched for a while. I guess if we end up getting the remnants of Wilma in a few days....they are saying it won't be rain...that will be snow too! :faint:

Maybe I'll move now and just have DH meet us there next year.

Yikes! Way too early for snow!

I think we are supposed to get more rain here today. Yuck!

Now that's an idea!!! The weather here is still in the 80s, but we are expecting a cold front after Wilma that will drop us down into the 70s.

Oh my goodness! I don't even want to think about snow!! That is definitely a benefit of living in FL - no snow!! Annmarie

Ugghhh - way too early for that "S" word - I don't like that "S" word!!! It's chilly here but I guess I can't complain - don't have that "S" stuff!

Good morning everyone - tonight is DVC chat night!

Good luck Floridians - will keep good thoughts that the pixie dust from WDW will help protect all of you from that Wilma! :umbrella:

Good morning Mary - I'll be in chat tonight!

OMG, Diana, you certainly have a LONG winter with snow so early. I don't envy you. I bet a lot of us are going to feel green with envy as to the weather reports Amy provides over the winter. Brrrr, stay warm. :cold: Sound like a great time to light up the fireplace and hibernate for the winter. :)

We're off to try and find some new snowgear for the kids. Cameron's set with his coat, but I'm having a hard time finding little boy sizes in the Columbia Brand. Lots of girl stuff out there, but as always, not much in the little boys selection. So, we're on a hunt early today to find him something.

I have a daycare interview at 4 today. I'm nervous, as always, but with this family, I'm even a bit more nervous as they are talking in the sense of "it's a done deal" type of thing. I talked to the Dad right after the cruise and told him that I didn't have any openings. Then when my opening came up, I tracked them down and found they are still in need of care. When I spoke to the Mom she told me that she has been calling me repeatedly since she was pregnant with her son (who's just turned 1) and was happy I "finally" had an opening. Keep your fingers crossed that this will work out......I absolutely hate interviewing perspective families. And, as Gary is sure to say, it makes me a bundle of nervous and a wreck. My nervous get the best of all of us in this house.
