Do you have any pets?Four cats....only one, Panda, goes outside on a regular basis. Our others are Diamy (so named because of the diamond shape on her nose), Tygger, and Sam. Sam will sometimes go out but only at night, so we say that his middle name should be Dracula.
What was the last book you read?Currently I'm reading "Perfect Match" by Jodi Picoult. Before that it was "The Innocent" by Harlan Coben. I plan to bring the new Harry Potter book to read on the cruise.
Do you like to cook?Not as much as I used to. It's harder to do now that our DD's are grown and it's just DH & me here for dinner.
Are you good at cooking/swimming/etc.?I would say I'm above average at cooking, but I don't do anything fancy.
Have you ever met a famous person?Not that I can recall.
What are your hobbies?Reading, knitting, reading these boards.
What countries have you visited?England, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Norway, the Bahamas, Canada, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, and Mexico
Are you a morning or night person?Morning for sure!
Which do you prefer, sunrises or sunsets?Sunsets
How many times did you move as a child?Only once, and then it was just across town when my parents built a new house. I asked my dad not to sell our old house because "I might want to live there one day." And guess what? I do! My dad rented the house to 3 different families, and when the third family moved out, dad sold the house to DH and me.
Are you a task oriented or people oriented person?I guess task, but I would like to be better at it. I get sidetracked way too easily!

Do you have any pets? I personally have no pets. But.....living in our house, we have Tony our American Eskimo dog, Snowball, white mini-lop rabbit, Brownie, mini-something rabbit, a red bellied toad named Kermit, several frogs in the fish tank, lots of fish

What was the last book you read? Night Tales/Night Shift by Nora Roberts while in Hilton Head

Do you like to cook? no

Are you good at cooking/swimming/etc? I can swim but not well enough to swim for a long time

Have you ever met a famous person? We spent New Years Eve at the Waldorf Astoria when I was a teenager. The plan was my Mom & Dad were going to the Guy Lombardo celebration and my brother and I were staying in the room. My Mom wasn't comfortable with this so my Dad bought us tickets for the event. Being a teenager, I wanted an autograph from Guy Lombardo who refused to give it to me. My Dad cornered him and pulled it out of him although he wasn't too happy about it. If this counts as a meeting, it's the only one I have.

What are your hobbies? I'd like to say scrapbooking but I haven't put a lot of effort into that. I find myself unwinding at night on the DIS

What countries have you visited? over the border into Mexico and Canada, that's it for me. But I hear I'm going to an island in the Bahama's soon

Which do you prefer, sunrises or sunsets? both are beautiful -- I couldn't possibly pick one over the other although sunrises are more serene

How many times did you move as a child? Born in Chicago, moved to Northbrook at 4, moved to Elk Grove Village at 8. Stayed there until I was married.

Do you like to cook? It's not so much not liking to cook - I hate all the deciding what to cook and shopping for the food.

I love Song of the South! Never saw it as a kid though. Rode Splash Mountain for the first time and dh wanted to know how I liked it. I said "oh, it was good. Cute animals, good music, fun drop." He said "dont' you know the story????" NO! So he told me, and Splash Mountain became infinitely better!

We got a DVD copy off of the internet but it was stolen when someone broke into our van. Ds was distraught so that night I had to figure out where I had bought it from and had to buy another!

If you'd like a VHS copy of Song of The South, I can bring it to you on the cruise. I don't have it on DVD.

Do you have any pets? Yes, 13 yr old Dalmatian, Penny (one of the pups in 101 dalmatians) and a 5 year old cat Alex (after Alex Trebek, I'm a BIG Jeopardy fan!)

What was the last book you read? Guess How Much I Love You or Goodnight Moon, I don't actually "read" either, I know them by heart by now!

Do you like to cook? LOVE to cook, LOVE to plan menus and parties!

Are you good at cooking/swimming/etc? I'm good at cooking and baking. I swim, but couldn't swim in like a race or anything like that. Generally I'm good at crafty things, but I claim I'm not crafty because I just copy other peoples ideas!

Have you ever met a famous person? A few. My dad works for a childrens book publishing company, so I've met several kids book authors.

Which do you prefer, sunrises or sunsets? depends on my mood. I'd say sunset, but there's nothing like watching the sunrise over the ocean... I also like waking up early when we're camping, and hearing everything coming awake.

Has anyone compared the duty free liquor prices onboard vs. state side prices? The price comparison that they are New Your City prices.

Packing tip: Take six feet of duct tape and wrap it around a spare flashlight battery. It can come in handy. If it moves and doesn’t supposed to move – use duct tape. If it doesn’t move and supposed to move – use WD-40.

Song of the South has to be my favorite Disney movie. I saw it when I was about 5. I can remember my father reading Uncle Remus to me when I was quite young. As you can probably guess, I also love the story and Disney cartoon of Chicken Little.

I have 2 Chihuahuas puppies. Hercules and Venus. Two fish tanks of fish.(Too many to name!)
The last book I read was Key of Valor by Nora Roberts.
I like to cook but not cleaning up the kitchen. So I don't cook too often.
I'm a pretty good cook. I'm good at swimming. I'm even better at gardening!
I've met famous people before. I use to live next to 3 famous rock stars growing up.
My hobbies are;gardening,house remoldeling,sport, and traveling.
I've visited Mexico,Canada,most of the Carribean Islands.( Soon to be Europe.Waiting for the kids to get older.)
