Hi Kathy:

thanks for the report. we'll fill up before we get off the Turnpike tomorrow morning.

I hope everything ends up OK with me - I have to go to the hospital tomorrow morning for a scan of my gall bladder. Dr. thinks it has to come out - right here almost 15 hours before we get on the road. So let's hope I get on the Turnpike.

You and John have a safe trip with the boys over to PC. See you on Sunday hopefully.................. :scared:
I hope that everything works out ok for you Kay!!! Good luck tomorrow!!!

I have been sorta quiet. Just doing what I have had to do. Some major family problems to take care of and a hugh family reunion to get things ready for in 2 weeks.

Actually, if this wasn't such a wonderful cruise, I probably would have canceled it but spent too much $$'s and points for it. :rotfl:

I am very happy to have been a little part of it and was able to provide shirts for a great number of us. I am bringing some extras and hope I don't come home with them. :rolleyes1

Looking forward to meeting everyone so much either on Saturday or starting with Sunday. We are going to have an awesome time

Pixie dust coming your way Kay! See you Saturday

Linda

Lisa may have a goat, but for about 2 years I kept my gallstones (what was left of them) in a jar!! Good thing I wrote that tiny and in yellow so no one could read it!! ;)

That's so funny because I have my kidney stones in a ziploc here! :rotfl: I was supposed to bring them to the doctors for analzying and well, I never got around too it....so here they sit. I was just thinking today how I really needed to get rid of them....gross!!

Oooohhhhh ----------- how funny.

Idea - put them on e-bay and see the response you get. Interesting, huh??? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: You never know.

Michelle - we'll probably be passing each other back and forth on the Turnpike. We are leaving in the am also - maybe we'll see each other at one of the plazas. Will just try to miss the morning traffic in WPB in the am. Have a safe trip up

Thank you and drive safely. Alikat I agree with you on the gas being cheaper on disney property than near Goodings.

I really need to start packing and getting my stuff together.

Michele :cool1:

Ya know. There's enough crazy people out there someone would probably buy them. If I point out how they are shaped like Jesus, they'd probably get top dollar! :rotfl2:

I'm about ready to freak!!! :scared1:

Toothbrushes, deoderant, etc -- packed

Pirate stuff -- Packed

Luggage - in foyer

Documents - Filled out.

Birth Certificates -- Found

I am DONE :cool1:

Now I have to survive one more day of work and then we leave for the airport as soon as I get home.

I'm headed home and then one more day of work.

29 hours and 7 minutes till we leave!

Oh Linda - I hate it that you have to work tomorrow - you'll make it. It'll go fast - see you Saturday and have a safe trip

Finsihed up PT test this morning, Passed, not bad for an old guy, even put a few younger than me in the dust on the run. Drove 435 miles home. Couple of hours of work tomorrow, Lynn has a graveyard shift tonight, I go to my office so she can sleep. Finishing touches on packing and then we are off early Sat AM.

Thinking of not taking the laptop, and just using the portable hard drive. I better make sure the tide tables and relevant charts loaded into the GPS. Just incase the Captain gets lost.....LOL

Every one travel safe OK,

Boy, oh boy!! I knew that it would get quiet when everyone started to get ready, but it's REALLY quiet!!!

I just finished most of my ironing, and I don't normally iron, so that's a big deal. I figured if I ironed everything, and kept my wrinkle releaser with me, then I should be OK.

Now, I'm sitting at the computer going over lists of things that I need to pack!!

Safe travels to everyone leaving tomorrow!!!

And leg one of the road trip is over! Been in for about an hour now, would have been in about an hour sooner if not for some preseason game in downtown Nashville tying up all the roads.

Was actually a smooth and very uneventful trip down.

No problems at all finding gas to this point. Paid in order, 3.09, 3.39 and will fillup at the one right by our hotel in the am which is at 2.99. Even with people working at the rest area telling us nonsense about there being no gas in southern Ill and Tenn rationing or somesuch nonsense. With an approximate working range of about 390 miles on 16 gallons(full tank), we can get reasonably far south of Atl and all the nonsense there before we have to stop for any tomorrow. And I will be the contrary one and say I wouldn't go any other way on this trip, even now. This was fully my decision to drive down as I really didn't want to deal with hassles packing to meet airline regs again, and the security at the airport which changes procedures at whim it seems sometimes.

Now Cindy , you mean that box I left on the roofrack of the car? ;)

No, your box is safely ensconced in the car and will remain so till we deliver it in person Saturday, thinking of dropping by before the meet.

OMG I am freaking out!! So I posted here about my Jesus shaped kidney stone and then God punished me. First the cable when out at about 5 after 8. No cable for me means no internet and no phone. :scared: Then about 5 minutes later THE POWER GOES OUT!!!! :faint: So I've spent the last almost two hours sitting in the dark with a disgusting combination of Yankee Candles burning all around me thinking....ok great....NOW what do I do?? I have to leave for the airport in 8 hours!!

All is well now....power is back, cable is back and I'm totally ready to go. :cool1:
