I'm in but a tad bit concerned about what I should include so if anyone can provide hints or suggestions as I don't want my bag to STINK!

I'm going to put things in that I like to use... maybe adding a couple of items that I've always wanted to try but haven't. ;)

I haven't decided on anything specific. I'll probably walk around the scrap store and just pick up what ever looks cool or might go with a cruise/beach theme to it!

SCRAPBOOK EXCHANGE.....

On the PC cruise, we did an informal scrapbook exchange after the scrapbook class. The question was asked of me, so I am posting to see if there is interest. There is no obligation to participate. Here is how it worked on the PC cruise.

Each person that wanted to participate purchased no more than $20 worth of scrapbook "stuff" from their part of the country. It didn't have to be Disney stuff, but there was Disney stuff exchanged. Then you put your "stuff" in a bag and brought it to the class and then at the end of the class your name went in a hat and then as your name was drawn you went and picked out another bag of "stuff" that someone else had bought.

About 30 of us participated and we all had a bunch of great new stuff to bring home.

So......................anyone want to participate in this at the end of the class?

Linda

Count me in, too!! :flower: This sounds like a lot of fun. :Pinkbounc I love to shop for scrapbook stuff

I will just be buying stuff that I like & use, probably in different themes, so someone could enjoy it all year long :flower: I'm sure whatever you pick out will be GREAT :cheer2:

We can go shopping together after dinner on Saturday while your DH takes the girls to Toys R us. :rotfl2:
Have you been to Memory Lane YSS? I keep forgeting to ask you that.

I'm thinking about the exchange. I'm not a scapbooker. I'm going to try it on the ship. Should I try to buy for the exchange? I'm just afraid of buying the wrong stuff!

I would SO love to see him keep my girls from destroying toys r us. We can't even go past the power wheels aisle, because Emma NEEDS the Hummer. She's not even 2!!! Mommy my car. Mommy my car. OK, yea, right....keep dreaming!

Which one is Memory Lane? I never know the real names to those scrapbooking places.

Speaking of scrapbooking.....anyone see that Disney Direct now has some scrapbooking stuff???

Cindy---better add $200 for scrapbooking supplies!!

Memory Lane is on Rt 9 just south of 146 in the Watkins Plaza by Aldi's, across the street from Red Robin & Hoffman's Car Wash.

Yes, I've been there!

Count me in on the goodie bag also but I have never done a scrapbbok so any tips would help
We still have kept the secret from my Grandsons. We are going to try and tell them that maybe we can visit the ship but we have to sign some papers to do it Hope it works out.

I wish I had know about this yesterday.
They had double punch day at the scrapbook store and I could have bought $20 of product and got my card punched for $40 and could have been that much closer to $15 in free product and in the monthly drawing for free product!
Did ya get all that,
it made sense when I typed it but it sounded weird when I read it.

Sorry haven't been here . been fighting off a cold

I'm up for the scrapbook exchange.

Cheryl

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

Be sure and bring your Disney cards with you. By that I mean you DVC card, your AP's, DDE card, even your Disney Collector Society card. You just never know what DVC has planned.

Here's why. Last Member Cruise they had an offer that if you joined the Collectors Society onboard you would get a DVC trip ticket holder (you know one of those things big enough to hold your passport, tickets, etc.). Well I had just renewed mine. I was talking to another DIS'er one night when the collector society rep stopped and talked to us. He asked if we had joined when I told him I had just renewed he told me to stop by and get my holder!

Then I went to a collector society program. I brought my collector society card. At the end of the program the host asked if anyone had thier card. I took mine out right away and by doing so won a copy of Bambi autographed by the illustrator who was a guest at the talk.

So bring your cards - you just never know! :)

Bobbi - have a great time!

Good morning everyone!!

Boy, I can't believe that that countdown is getting SO close. Only 2 more weeks and we'll be getting ready to go. I really need to get myself in gear and get things ready to go. I've already started packing stuff in a suitcase. I need to start thinking about what we're going to wear, etc.

Great tip, Mary!! You just never know when those cards can come in handy.

So, has everyone that received their docs, filled them out? I have everything done but 3 of the Bahamas Immigration forms. I'll fill those out today and get Chris to sign his stuff and I'll pack those in my suitcase too, with our passports (and Madison's BC, just in case her passport doesn't make it here before we leave).

In exactly two weeks from today I'll be on that plane heading to WDW!! :cool1:

I have no clue how I'm going to make it through the next two weeks though! I have a pretty busy week planned because my 12 year old sister is coming for the week to help with the girls so I can get stuff done for the party. :rolleyes1 You'll probably see a lot of me next week! :rolleyes1
