I'm just the opposite. I could handle the first 10 seconds but hate the ride after that point.

I think that there are too many to remember. We might hear that music as we meet at the PI event on Saturday. Everyone around us will be saying "where's that music coming from?"

One last thing on being chatty. Don't know if any of you have seen the title of the May '06 double scoop thread. It includes the following "Il pochi il fiero i blabbermouths". That translates from Latin into: the few, the proud, the blabbermouths! BTW I didn't give us the name and I'm NOT the #1 poster on that thread (I think I might be #4). :)

An early childhood memory
I was about 4 and my sister had a big baby doll stroller.
I wanted her to push me, so I climbed in and it collapsed and I fell on the floor.
My favorite WDW ride
I love Its a Small World
I know its corny, but seeing the children of all the nations singing in harmony brings tears to my eyes.
My least favorite ride
Was Alien encounter and now its Stich,
Just icky
My favorite WDW place to eat
I like it all.
if theres food, Im ready
My favorite WDW treat

Thanks for letting us know what it translates into. I see that thread all the time and have wondered what it said. It's cute and probably very true!

Well you might only be #4 with them, but we think you're #1 in our thread!! :cool1:

Actually, I was wondering the same thing about the translation.

It's all about sharing. I think that is what makes the cruise meets threads so great. You have experienced cruisers sharing with new cruisers. You have people sharing info on new things. Maybe it is passport information, maybe it is blinkies on sale at Wal-Mart. It's all about sharing.

I know that those are you who are first time cruisers or first time Member event participants will pay it forward in the future by helping other newbies.

I totally agree with you, Mary. On our first cruise, I knew nothing about DCL, but I did know about the DIS from being on the DVC board after we bought into VWL.

My first cruise just happeend to be Cruisetoberfest II, so a lot of them knew each other ahead of time. But, I just jumped in, and by the time I got to the port, I knew most of what was going to happen, and I was so happy that they shared their insight.

Ok, 3 weeks from right now, we should be boarding and hearing Welcome Home!!!

Ditto on what AMy and Mary said.

Very true about the three weeks, very KEWL!!!

I am having a tough time keeping up here. Will be easier when we are on the ship. I hope.

The same for us. The 1st Member Cruise was our first ever cruise. John really wanted to go on a cruise and I had no desire to - besides who wants to be "stuck" on a boat with nothing to do! The Member Cruise was announced and we had banked points, so we decided to use them on the cruise. I checked out the cruise thread for the Member Cruise and that's where I first met Mark - I must have really scared him cause I pm'd him asking him what I should wear for dinner! He quickly put me in touch with Mary! It was really nice to go on the cruise and not have to feel like I didn't have a clue of what to expect. Learning from Mark & Mary's (& other's too) experiences helped make a first cruise very enjoyable! Now I can't imagine why I didn't go on a cruise sooner!
