Were you the one who mentioned it in chat last night?

We actually had plans to meet someplace else. Then whoever posted about Macaroni Grill and Mary replied it was her favorite. So, one thing lead to another and we changed our meeting place.

I didn't see that Mary mentioned our 2 twilight zone moments. One was that all 4 of us ordered iced tea. Then Mary & I were starting to fill out the menus for the build your own pasta. Unknowing that Mary's favorite was the same as mine, I started telling Mary about my favorite sauce - a roasted garlic cream sauce. So, Mary and I both had the same pasta (bowtie), garlic cream sauce and grilled chicken. Mine had spinach and mushrooms too.

Where's that music? :teeth:

I was so surprised when I got back this afternoon that no one had reached #7000.

Congratulations to both of you! :cool1:

Debbie, I thought that might have been you. I'm glad you mentioned it because our lunch today was awesome.

I wish I could figure out how to type the music to the twilight zone. :earboy2:

It's kinda creepy how alike some of us are!!! We'll be like old friends in 3 weeks.

Just think, in 3 weeks, I should be snoozing in my bed at BCV, dreaming Disney Wonder dreams. :cloud9:

Snoozing? Lucky you! :cool1:

I'll be wide awake, tossing and turning, worrying about being to the boat on time. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

In all honesty, I'll probably be lying awake, listening to Chris snore. Then, that wakes Madison up, and then she cries and I have to get her back to sleep. And then, it continues again an hour or two later.

And, I don't have to worry about sleeping too late and being to the ship on time. Emily ALWAYS wakes up before 7am, so I don't have anything to worry about in that department. She's my human alarm clock, and I'm sure the with excitement of going on the "Mickey boat", she won't sleep at all.

Does anyone remember a discussion about crocheted flip flops back when the blinky ones were being discussed? :confused3 I cannot find it even doing a search and wondered how they are made. Someone said her kids used to make them. Right? Anyone know what I'm talking about or did I dream it?

Jan :earsgirl:
It was me! I made the fun fur flip flops! They are really easy to make and so cute! Let me know if I can help.

I'll have my lime green crocs on to the port with my tie dye shirt, because we didn't get DIS shirts. I'm also planning on wearing my blinkies on pirate night, probably not to dinner, but definitely on deck!!

So I saw a pair of crocs tonight in person and I don't get it. Do they look like garden shoes? :confused3 Are they really that comfortable? They were really cute in the kids sizes but they look really large in the adult size.

Yes and thank you for that last night. We had planned on pizza but when you mentioned it in chat we changed. Yum!

Jenny - yes they are comfortable. I will say that I don't care so much for most of the croc styles that look like garden shoes. Others however love them. That's why I purchased the Nile version. It has more of a traditional sandle look.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

We're all going to have fun in the sun right? So don't forget the sunscreen! The sun is stronger down in the Keys and the Bahamas than it is where most of us live. On sea days it can be even stronger if ou are out by the pool The cool breeze fromt he ship moving and the water makes you forget how strong the sun is.

Here's the tip - try the new spray on sunscreens. Especially for the ladies and girls who get their hair braided. Put sunscreen in those rows or you'll be in for a very red, very painful experience! Remember that part of the scalp doesn't see the sun too often.

Don't forget other often over-looked places like your ears and the top of your feet. Protect yourself and you can have fun at play and not be in pain the next day!

I'm going to elaborate a little more about the hairbraiding and spray on sunscreen! First, when you use the spray on sunscreen, make sure you rub it in GOOD!! My girlfriend uses it on her boat all the time for her 2 little boys and well, they both had 'spray marks'. There was a highly concentrated area where she had sprayed it, and obviously little specks of where the overspray went on the poor kids!

And DEFINITELY listen to Mary about sunscreening the lines in your head if you get your hair braided! I didn't the first year and my head got so burnt that it started to peel....and well, that was not only very very itchy, but disgusting because it looked liked I had horrible dandruff with huge pieces skin flaking off in my hair!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

It happened to me once too. We were in Jamaica and I got my hair braided. Well, after a couple of days, it peeled and it was gross!!! Make sure to use that sunscreen.
