Anyone get their cruise documents yet I've been looking everyday! As soon as they come it just makes the trip seem "more real"

Nope. Don't think they will come this early. Maybe by the end of this week or next week though. I pulled together most of my non-clothes stuff to pack. Getting excited

aHHHHH Is it time yet? I am getting so anxious! I have everything but school shoes and digital camera packed. Now it's just sitting there staring back at me. Can't wait to get cruise docs so it will give me a little "light" reading at night. LOL

We booked pretty late (last week actually), so hopefully this doesn't slow down the receipt of our documents.

I forgot to pop on when you posted and say welcome. I'm a relative newcomer, too. We switched from the Sept 6 3-day to this one a few weeks ago.

Have you made Palo ressies and got that stuff all straight?

Hey everyone! I just booked this cruise yesterday and am so excited. Had a rough summer and now we need a little cruise to perk us up! Tried to get my sister to go but it will just be DH and I. I'll have to read all your posts, but I've read pages 1 and 6 so far! Can't wait to go!!

Man, we know all about horrid summers over here! Luckily, we had a great one this year.... Hopefully, this cruise will be just what you needed. You're going to really enjoy the cruise with just DH, I bet.

We aren't going to Palo on this trip. I went with my mom on our cruise last year. Since we are going with a group of people on the Mexican Riviera cruise next year, we'll go to Palo then. And I happen to know that our TA (which is my mom) will be giving all the guests a dinner at Palo as a thank you for booking through her.

We booked at room at Atlantis at the great Travelzoo rate they had at $129 so we could use their pools, etc. for the day. These are the only plans we have for this trip. I am just looking forward to being away and relaxing. Unfortunately for my husband there are a gazillion things on the ship that I want to show him, so I'm sure I'll be driving him crazy!!

My summer was difficult for other reasons. My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer in June and died in August. Sorry, no way to put that different. That's why I wanted my sister to come with, it's just the two of us now. But I convinced her to come with next September for the 5 night sailing. She'll be in a different room and her step daughter and grandkids are coming. We figured it'll be around the time that mom passed away, the cruise leaves on Mom's birthday and I'll be celebrating my 40th birthday so we should all be together!

Sorry for being a downer here. We are doing ok and looking forward to this cruise.

Can't wait to get documents here!!

Yeah, our horrid summers had to do with things along those lines, but I can't imagine how difficult it is to lose a parent. Hopefully, this will be a good break for you and DH, and it will make the next cruise with the whole family even sweeter.

My goodness! I hate to hear about all the problems you guys have had this summer. My Dad passed away 3 years ago in July and I totally understand how this turns your world upside down. Hopefully you will get some relaxation and rejuvenation!

No docs today. HATING my TA at this point. I will be so frustrated if I have to call them about it!!!!

On a brighter note, I had the boys get their pirate night get-ups out today and put them in a suitcase!! Tomorrow, I'm going to get the finishing touches for my daughter's, and bring my dinner stuff to the cleaners. Apparently, my much-maligned cat has been SITTING on my black pants (he's white).

Can't wait to go on this cruise. A friend of mine is going to be on this sailing with some friends of hers so it will be good to connect again!

Ours did come today, not much to it since we had filled out everything online already. Still glad to see it, makes it seem more official I suppose!

Funny thing though, probably because we signed up so soon, I filled in everything online, but all documents came in the package as well.
