Sept. 2009 @ WDW! Be a Pop Tart 2009~come share your(Bounce Back or NOT)Dates !!!

Melissa: Look into the ipod touch (Apple gives military discount as well) It has Wifi so you could use it for internet if you were travelling. The calendar is excellent.

Always will be a part Tart ANG!!!

Ang I am wondering if you read this quickly if you will think the same thing as I did. Reply via PM cause there are some innocent people on here and I do not want to corrupt them. :rotfl: BTW, as far as imperfect renovations. One thing I learned, a bit too late in life, is that once you put the furniture, curtains and rugs in a room they cover a multitude of sins and folks just do not notice the small errors in life. That is why moldings and frosting were invented, to cover errors and life would far less nice without either one of them. :goodvibes

cherylp3, I am a believer in people being early or late in congratulations as it extends the period of celebration. When I send a card etc. late I am assured of it standing out from the crowd. :yay:

I am going to start working on an agenda now. Like I really need a plan? I like something to shoot at even if I miss the target often. One of the perks to being a frequent visitor is that you can opt out of a plan when something more interesting comes up. I have never regretted a change either.

Another vote for the black and white - it is awesome!

Wow, our Poppers have been chatty the last couple of days...can hardly keep up (okay, no news flash there.:rotfl:).

Ang, I'm with Linda and sure do wish you could come for a few days the first week of December...if only all the Tarts could join us...I'd be in Tart Heaven!!

Anyone know which of the AS has been the last to be refurbed? I could be waaay off, but though Sports was first, then Music - last review I read of movies was that it was in dire need of a refurb - did Disney skip Movies?

I think I'd enjoy the Sports section with the Beach theme...looks light and fun...and beachy. :rotfl: Otherwise, Music would be nice....Calypso looks pretty.

Or maybe I can rent point s and snag a room over near EPCOT - as I said to Linda in an email - then I could sit on my balcony and people watch when not hanging with friends.

Melissa ~ how is Contanze today?

Kris ~ hope you are feeling more cheery today. Won't you be at Disnry this time enxt month???? :woohoo:

SG ~ Sounds like a nice birthday, but would have been even nicer if your son had shared those photos. I'm sorry....

We rarely order app's or dessert (too much food and sure adds to the bill) and often order water too - like it better..although sometimes, like yesterday, Pellegrino is a great treat!!

Hope it's great day, my friends!

My dear M&N

Just had a thought. If you get a place with a balcony you will be sitting up there all by your lonesome. Please consider staying down to earth so that more folks can meet you? Nothing beats walking round the food court or pool area and running into folks from the DIS. Helps if you are wearing a big lime green shirt with your screen name and silly picture on it, along with a smile. :goodvibes

Otherwise you might do just as well to open the curtains in your home and watch the parade pass you by.

Will has been in every sport there is. I started when he was young and could figure out what he enjoyed and was best at and that was soccer. He was a grass picker in baseball. He despised basketball. He refused to spar with girls in karate. Hockey and football were too rough for him. I think I taught him too well not to be rough with others. lol Soccer was his favorite and he is good at it till he has to steel the ball from a girl which he won't do. Now that he is in high school it is an all boys team so it is perfect for him. He also loves swimming but doesn't like to get up early to swim at 8am in the 50-60 degree weather here in June.

As for busses I laugh at the controversy of AS busses vs. Pop because I liked the bus service at ASMo better when we stayed there. We always had our own bus to the parks but shared on the way home and we got a seat 80% more of the time and got on the first bus at AS since there were less people there. The less people in the food courts was better as well. I know opinions vary but that is mine for what it's worth.

Cheryl,
Will and Ipod touch work with verizon service or is it only AT&T?

Linda,
I will PM you but I am sure we thought the same thing and I am sure Timmy meant it that way as well. lol

M&N,
I will price December when the rates come out for the GP. I need to check for all I know they already did. lol

Timmy, Timmy, Timmy you and I will always be tarts won't we. lol

My Toby loved to swim too. He had whatever the highest wrist band was when he was 7 and was doing backward flips of the high diving board at 10 - he was my wild child for sure. :faint:

What is a GP, Ang? Same as an AP? If so, those are out!! :woohoo: Guess I'd better check too - have been soo lazy lately...calling Disney just is not the same as it used to be so I put it off...cannot book on line for an AP rate as my palm was to upgrade after arrival.

Anyone with an AP want to check dates for me? In November 29 - leave Dec 5th. Thanks much!!!

The thing about POP -and I LOVED it my first stay...loved walking past Lady and the Tramp everyday, LOVED the Christmas decorations, but did not enjoy the bus lines. The moderates bus stops are so pretty and nicer places to wait.

Otherwise you might do just as well to open the curtains in your home and watch the parade pass you by.
:rotfl2:
SG ~ yes, you have a point....it would be more fun to run into one another....but...being solo I will not likely do parks alone (too many memories of when Toby was little, it is gentler on my heart to be with friends or family), so the time I'm on my own (which could be a lot) would enjoy having a balcony - make sense? Anyhoo, it is very doubtful I would go that route. :sad2:

Toby sounds like Will when it comes to swimming. Will started lessons at 4 years old and ended up at the highest at about age 6. He too loves the high dive and has no fear of water. Funny he is at the pool with a girl from school probably diving off the high dive as I type. lol

I used to teach swim lessons to babies, kids, and adults at a YMCA at night after work just for the fun of it so I wanted that love of water for my child. Next summer Will wants to work as a life guard. Hmmm now to figure out when we will fit in our road trip to California if he does that. lol I might be summer vacationless for the next 4 years or so.

Ang

GP means general public

That's an idea. I think I would rather just carry one thing around though. Maybe Iphone.:rolleyes1 I don't see us switching companies though.j

Constanze seems ok. I didn't give her the last day of antiobiotic. Consulted the DBIL who is a vet tech about what he thought and he agreed one day would probably be ok. She is up following me around, so that is good. She ate this morning, but didn't clean her bowl. She has never been one to gulp down her food though. Excuse me for posting this, but she was very gassy last night and this morning. Too bad Jonas had to turn in his gas mask. :ssst:don't tell her I brought up this subject. Remember, she is a little lady and gets upset if we acknowledge these things.:rotfl:

M&N, what exactly are you looking for and I would be happy to do some research on AP rates. I used them for our Labor Day weekend.

Linda-great big :grouphug:
Happy Birthday girlfriend:love:
Just got home & tired. G's team didn't win one game. They lead til 4th inning every game & then fell apart. They were playing with the best of the best out of six states, so they did good for our small little town of 1200 people.

Any word for Dec FD for GP?
Be back tomorrow:flower3:

I just had a nice visit with one of you. Anyone who does NOT have a sore ear is not the one.:rotfl:

JM, sure glad to hear that "Connie" ,I can never remember how to spell her name, is doing better. It will good for the both of you. Maybe the gas is a sign of improvement sort of like sweating means a fever is breaking. Anyway I am sure it makes her feel better to expel those evil spirits. :goodvibes

Ang, you mean that our sweet innocent Timmie would post such a thing on purpose? What is the world coming to? Note that I figured that you and I would understand completely.:rotfl:

cherylp3, loved all the tech talk even though I only have a Tracphone and do not really have a need for that. I know few friends with cells and cannot hear a ring anyway. The only time my phone gets a workout is at DW and set on vibrate. Scared the heck out of me the first time though. I love tech stuff though. A wireless printer is on my wish list. :wizard:

M&N, long time no see. How you doing? Anything new?:rotfl2:

SG

Hey Bonnie, we were both in here at the same time and you did not even give me a wave? :rotfl: The hug was really great though. Almost as nice as the one you gave me last September, one that shall live in my memory. :rotfl2::banana::dance3: You silly gal you.

Please tell 'G' that there is no shame in losing to a good team. Any team can also have a good or bad day and you do tend to learn more by playing against better teams than worst teams. He done good to get that far. Far better than I could ever do, and most others. :woohoo:

Sooo, last winter I set up a gmail account for Sophia's 1st WDW visit - in 2/3 yrs...just checked it a few minutes ago and ...geesh...a FOURTH pin code in a few months!! This one is for free dining all the way into December!

Racking my brain to find a way to use the code...if I make a reservation for Mia and I, then change her name to another adult later...

Nope...she has to be the adult on the reservation...oh me oh my....there must be a way!!!! Put on your thinking caps, please?

I just had a nice visit with one of you. Anyone who does NOT have a sore ear is not the one.:rotfl:

Not a thing new, but my ear still hurts. :rotfl2: How's yours????:rotfl:

(My cell says 133 mins and 53 seconds) Gee...what if we'd had something to chat about... :rotfl2:

Will not let on to Contanze that we know about her little smelly problem last night. :ssst: I am so happy she is beginning to feel a little better.

Oh, Melissa, thank you! November 29th 4 or 5 ngts or the 11/26 to Tues 12/1 or maybe Dec 4, for 4/5 ngts.... AS or FQ, please.

Thanks so much! :goodvibes

M&N, I'll look into this tomorrow, my brain isn't working at the moment. One question, as I said, brain isn't working too well. What is "FQ"?

Got to get Jacob and myself to bed. Hey, Cheesecake Factory will have their slices of Cheesecake 50% off on the 30th. Hmmm, anniversary is the 29th, maybe dinner on the 30th?

Absolutely - no hurry!

Cheesecake Factory....anniversary....sounds like a great plan!

Cheryl,
I was thinking Iphone not Ipod. Sometimes I can see something in my head but call it by the wrong name. lol Can you use Verizon wireless or other companies besides AT&T with an Iphone.

SG,
I meant to tell you that not all cell phones have sim cards. My current one doesn't but my Nextel phone did. Still haven't PM'd you. Have patience I still have dial up and it took me hours this afternoon to pay 2 bills online. It drives me nutso.

Melissa,
Maybe the antibiotic is causing the gas. It is a side effect for some humans taking antibiotic too. After reading your email I took our dog Angel for a ride to pick up Will and she had bad gas too. Thank goodness it was a good day to keep the windows down. lol

Bonz,
Tell G way to go with the ball game even though he didn't win he made it to the end.
