Sept 2005 Roll Call...It’s Finally Sept! Are You Ready? Come Share Your Enthusiasm

I leave in 8 days and checkin in 10! We are soooooo excited!!!!!!!!

We were there Aug28-Sept3 It was 87 at 8:00 in the morning and the humidity so high that all the windows were covered with condensation. Afternoon about 93 and it felt like 104 with the humidity. We ate a small breakfast in our room (muffin, bagels, coffee) got to the Park at opening went crazy until lunch around 1:30/12 (we were able to walk onto all rides-no problem. The longest we waited was about 10 minutes for Astro Orbitor which was a waste of time.)We even did many rides twice. Also with the small breakfast there was less chance of motion sickness. Often saw some sort of show then went back to our rooms for a swim/lay down. then washed for supper at 5:30


This was not my plan--I thought we would be going all day, but without the waites we saw lots. The break left us refreshed so we could enjoy our supper and any plans afterwards

Just saw that there is a Spectro added at MK for Sept 22 (Thurs).

I usually pack one pair of jeans just in case but the only trip I needed them was February. We had one really cold day the rest were low 90s! Every September and October trip I've taken has been quite warm!

Have a great time! I'll start packing next week!!!

Great!!! I'll just wear the jeans on the plane, and pack shorts (now I've got more room for souveniers! )

Are the rooms air conditioned by our own control? The little ones will need naps. The older ones will be at the pool. We are planning on doing what you did. Hopefully it wont be so hot and

The POP resort must be a very popular place. I see a lot of September DISers will be there. We're staying at the POR this time, but maybe we'll try POP the next go-around. 16 more days!!! Can't wait!!!!!

We'll be at POR the same time as you are! We're at 16 days too! I'm sure we'll be in AB section cause we need the trundle! I can't wait but Oh I've got sooo much to do and time is starting to fly. I hate packing!

I signed into your thread about a meet at POP. I guess we don't have anyone else going? So, hopefully we will see you at Ohana on the 12th. I should be wearing lime green shorts and a floral shirt with teal and green flowers. (a tommy bahama, so it's kind of hawiian looking) See you later! Have a safe trip!
