I leave in 3 weeks! I can hardly believe it. I'm starting to get stuff together so I can start to pack.

I just took a look at the weather for first 5 fulldays of our trip;

"A few thunderstorms possible. Highs in the low 90s and lows in the mid 70s"

Possible?!?!? Why can't they just be sure? (Wish I was a weather man. When they get it wrong they get to ask for more money for more equipment. I get fired).



5 days of fun and dodging raindrops.

Still don't care. We are gonna have a Blast.

I think I have finalized our plans---made a few switcharoos based on what the Unofficial Guide blog said.

Friday 9/23- travel day. Arrive around 8:30 PM at POFQ. Check in, eat at food court, take a quick swim, unpack.

Saturday- Disney Studios in AM; 50's PTC for lunch. Afternoon break. Hit Adventureland & Frontierland in MK in mid-afternoon/early evening. Dinner at Pecos Bills. Watch Spectro from Frontierland/Liberty Square.

Sunday- Animal Kingdom. Lunch at Tusker House. Afternoon break. 530 PM ADR at 'Ohana. Shop at DtD after dinner.

Monday- Epcot. Future World (only a handful of things we want to do in F.W.)and 1/3-1/2 of W.S. by 1:00 or so. Lunch in either China, Germany or America. Afternoon break/rest. Return around 5 to see Off Kilter and our PS at Restaurant Marrakesh at 6:30. Continue shopping/touring W.S. until closing.

Tuesday- Magic Kingdom- start in Fantasyland and Toontown this time and work our way to Tomorrowland. See what we missed on Saturday in Frontierland and Adventureland. Lunch at Cosmic Rays probably?? Wherever we end up hungry. Leave around 3 or 4 to go back and get cleaned up, etc. 6:30 PS at Whispering Canyon.

Wednesday- open in the AM. My older son and dad my go to Typhoon Lagoon? Or perhaps we'll hit DtD if we haven't spent much time there yet. Or maybe even hit W.S. if we felt we didn't see enough of it on Monday. Like I said, OPEN! Around 4 or so we will head to MK for EMH. We have a 5:30 PM dinner reservation at CRT. Hit all our favorites like Buzz, Pirates, Splash, etc. Leave when tired (3 children in our group so whoever runs out of steam first! ).

Thursday- MGM again to do our favorites and anything else we may have missed or skipped the first day. Lunch PS at SciFi. We have to leave for the airport between 3-3:30 to catch our 6 PM flight.

WOO HOO! Almost here! I have my "to buy" list for Target all written out and am starting to throw some things in suitcases. Not officially packing, but a start.

I was just looking at the same on weather.com. We leave 9/17 so I hope these storms stay at sea!

One week from now we will be 6 hours from home, driving south on I-95!!!!!

I'm packing, packing, packing. So far I've packed: the bags for in the car on the drive down (DVD player and DVD's, hand held games, activity pads, etc.), everyone's toiletries, all the backbacks with their rain ponchos (hoping we won't need them!), Brita bottles and disposable cameras, the camera bag and the beach bag for TL.
Doing laundry like crazy so that everyone can start packing clothes by the end of the week.

I usually pack one pair of jeans just in case but the only trip I needed them was February. We had one really cold day the rest were low 90s! Every September and October trip I've taken has been quite warm!

Is it quite a bit warmer in Sept. then Oct. We have only been in mid Oct., but then they said it was unusually warm for Oct. It was 80's and 90's the whole time! But the weather was nice not humid! Is the weather a humid or dry?

Hi! We are going for a family trip and I notice we will be down there at the same time. We will be there at WL 12-22. I can't wait!!! Yes, I second your Pray for good weather. Has the weather cleared up down there? Whats it been like lately? 70's 80's or 90's? Humid or dry? Rainy? Are there still rain showers everyday? Is there any last minute advice?
