I have been wanting to post our vacation on here, but have been so busy. I finally have a little while to do it. Anyway my name is Tanya, my husband is Phil and 4year old daughter Chloe, and 18 month old Mackenzie. I have been to Disney before, my last visit was in 2000. This was the girls and hubbies first time. Our flight left Philadelphia at 7:00 am. The girls werent too bad with the flight. I think Mackenzies ears were bothering her a little every once in a while, but other then that it was ok. We got to Orlando about 9:30 or so, and checked in at the Magical Express, and were on our bus to the ASMO in no time. We waited maybe 15-20 to be checked in. I requested Toy Story building(we paid for a perferred room), I also requested not to be near the Fantasia pool, because of the construction going on, and a quiet room. Mackenzie is a VERY light sleeper. Well....I didnt get any of the requests. We were in the 101 Dalmations building. As soon as we walked out of the room...there was the Fantasia pool. It was close to the bus stop and the lobby, but got a little noisy with people going back and forth to the Duck Pond pool. So, anyway our room was not ready which I kind of figured it wouldnt be. That was ok. We went to the Marketplace for a while, I was amazed that there was no crowds there. I just though maybe it was still early. I never went to the Marketplace in the day time, maybe it gets busier at night. At about 2:00, we headed back to the hotel and called the number they gave us to see if your room was ready, and it was. We got into our room and I took my shoes off, and walked right in a soak and wet carpet (right outside the bathroom)!! yuck Then noticed that there was no pack and play for Mackenzie, and our luggage was not there. This was about 3:30pm. I called and they said the luggage was on its way, and someone would bring the pack and play. ABout 30 minutes later the luggage came, and right before that someone brought the pack and play, and I noticed there was no remote for the tv. Finally that was all taken care of. We changed our clothes and off to Epcot we went to find something for dinner. We ate at Germany at the Biergarten. We all loved it! Phil was stationed in Germany for four years with the Army. He loved the food! Even the girls could not get enough of the food. The service was great!!! We sat with a couple who was from Orlando, so I asked them what the helk are all of these bugs! They told me they are lovebugs. They said they dont bite, so I was fine. After dinner, me and Chloe went on Soarin. No wait at all, walked right on! Soarin was awsome! Chloe got a little scared at the end with the fireworks, but she did good. Well, that is all for now.

fantastic start to your trip.......thanks so much for taking the time to do it..we love Biergarten too and usually go there for a feast......

I know what you mean about the bugs. They were horrible!! I have never seen them there in all my years of going to WDW. I was there Sept. 29th and they said they were even worse last week but they'll all be gone next week.
Great start to the story though.

We just came home and the bugs were so bad to me?? :confused3
