Gobble Gobble Gobble to ya' all!

We were over in the states when all the adverts were coming out. Its the new Disney cartoon about a dog named Bolt who plays a wonder dog on TV and thinks he has real powers. It looks so funny

A bit like UNDERDOG then? Everybody I know hated that film, we loved it, maybe cause it had a beagle in it, although, with a title like bolt and considering my beagle bolts at every chance he gets, maybe this has a beagle in it too!:rotfl:

Hello everyone - we had a great Thanksgiving and LOVED Bolt!!! popcorn:: It was a very cute movie and our theatre had all adults, of course it was 4:45 on Thanksgiving, but that is why we go! We laughed and loved the guy in the USC shirt - pure genius!! :cool1: :cool1:

I was just looking up City North this morning, but didn't realize it was open and it is! How exciting? I remember when they were just breaking ground. How exciting! Tell me more about the restaurants and shops!

Loved the cruise pictures and I do agree - Capt. Thor isn't as exciting as Capt. Tom! It was fun to see the pictures - wish I was getting on the cruise tomorrow. My friend from Lakeland is tomorrow and I am sooo jealous! Have a great shopping day. Family is out shopping and I am staying home to shop on the internet. Enjoy the leftovers!!!!!!!!!!

Shucks, Eric, you make me blush!

Hoagie Pie, Sandi, is tons of fun, too! Watch out, though, they win all the games!!!

Unfortunately not anymore. On the last cruise - double dip - they didn't play any of the good games. Darrell won ZERO! I only won one thanks to Hadley's bunch! We do LOVE the games though. I hope you and your hubby are able to come aboard for the cruise Deanna. We would love to see your smiling face.

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am doing the dance!

Me, too!

But I've never had to wait so long for a cruise!

I think the longest was only two months and this is almost two years! :headache:

What can I do for the next two years to distract myself:rolleyes: ? I usually have a baby or something like that, but that's getting a little ridiculous:laughing: ...Maybe I'll become a concert pianist or somethin'. Seems I have the time...

Oh, btw, my two oldest DD20 and DD18 will be in college, so we'll only have the 6 younger ones--only two rooms! The ages will be...DD's 15, 15, 13, 11, DS's 8, 5

Yes, the hormones will ooze out of the girls' room...so beware if you choose to approach. You may get injured, otherwise.

We're cat 11. What happened to all the 12's? We're GTY, and with the time of year, I'm expecting an upgrade, but it doesn't matter to me. Deck 4 is my FAVORITE place on the boat...that and the dessert buffet line.

Excited that "most" of the children are coming. Abby will be 13 by then - perfect age. Hopefully since this will be our second and your third TA, we will have a chance to sit around, chat and catch up! I am going to diet, have fun, love being with my family and scrapbook - that should hold me over for 2 years!!!! I hope!:woohoo: Kids are home from shopping and they have enough lights to have a Griswold Christmas. This electric bill better not cost me as much as the cruise!

By the way, looked at airfare today on Air France and it was very inexpensive, but they are not booking that far ahead. I might get to spend a day in Paris!!!:yay:

DCL never posted the cat 12's for this cruise. The cat 11's were very reasonable though! That's where we are too. We have two ressie's :rolleyes1 one with a confirmed room on deck 6 and the other is guarantee. Currently it will be DH, myself and DD#3 (7 at cruise time) I KNOW DD#1 and DD#2 cannot miss that much HS, but "just in case" I booked a second room:rolleyes1.

DH has just about finished putting the lights up (he started Wednesday.) The lights in the house dim when the Christmas lights come on each night and you can't have any other lights in the living room on or one of the three Christmas light circuits will blow.:rolleyes1

Thanks - I ran out right away and we tested it! They are having fun and hopefully your husband is having the same amount of fun! I love this time of year! How is that California weather - glad to hear no mud slides!:santa:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Clearly you need to add more lights! Yes, DH loves this time of year. The Christmas lights are his "thing" and every year he add's something new.

We are in short sleeves and capri's still. Last week we were in the 90's which is just crazy for us! It was supposed to rain all this week. Instead it rained Tuesday during the night, again Wednesday night and a little bit Thursday morning. We really do need the rain, but having little bits at a time are the best thing for the fire scorched hillsides to regrow.

My husband has now hooked up Christmas music and the lights are nsync with the music! It is almost 10:30 here and he is just standing there looking at the lights! As long as I don't have to hang lights, I am happy. I must say it does look nice, but I hope our few neighbors appreciate it.:santa:

We put our outside stuff up today and also have it syncing to the music. We did it last year too and our neighbors called and asked us to turn the music up!

It was the perfect day today to do the work too - high in the upper 40's, ground still not frozen and not windy so hanging the icicle lights around the porch, cellar and shed roofs and staking the deer, sled and tree to the ground went smoothly for a change.

We didn't add anything new this year - I'm waiting to see what the stores have after Christmas is over and I can get on clearance (we like to add something new each year). I've got my eye on a few things that would work with what we already have.

Sandi, told my husband about Airfrance--be careful...he works with Europeans and they have warned him that AirFrance is a big rip off when it comes to luggage. They charge you by the pound and if your carry on is too big, they take that, weigh it and charge you for that.

I remember chatting with Ducky Williams in Barcelona and he was irate because Air France had charged him $700 for his luggage.

BTW, we LOVE Ducky. We got chummy with him and his friends, because we met them before we knew they were famous! BUT BUT BUT it was Hadley who got TWO!!!!!! (yes TWO!) of his drawing. <<< jealously spitting;) >>>> I hope he's on the TA!

Hoagie

Also be warned, the french are ALWAYS on strike!!

I am going shopping, have I told you all I hate shopping??

I am sorry I upset you, I am also sorry you felt that you had to get a new user name to say so. I should have said in the uk then, we get charged for everything, I dont understand the last part. " but we have rules at live that way"
This is only my humble opinion! I know others will not agree, thats what makes us all differant.
Also it was my french colleage that said about the french strike thing.
Ps, I have visited the Netherlands many times and love it.

I met others who had similar experiences with Air France, and were shocked when they were charged $700-800 extra for their luggage.
