I love that piece (and the ring) but haven't gotten it yet. They had a new limited edition (1000) version today with white and black diamonds, special price $511. I didn't order it.

I already have a similar gold one that I got years ago at DL but decided to go for the silver look this time. I also have Mickey diamond stud earings and a silver and crystal hidden Mickey tennis bracelet.

Love the necklace! The idea of chocolate tasting is brillant! Love it and will definitely participate. I also think that not having an assigned day for FE is another great idea! We are on a roll for great ideas tonight!!!

I am already thinking of FE gifts. With all this planning and stuff to look forward to, the time will really fly by!

I found it so much fun to check the FE every time I opened the door, so I'm more inclined to do individual ones.

Also, I was thinking about the candy exchange... how about a candy tasting? That way you're not bringing a whole bunch of candy, just enough to share with a group?

Me too! I'm starting way early this time on everything for the cruise. LOL thinking I had all this time last time and of course I was up sewing at the last minute and I still did not finish everything I wanted to. I need to make a list of when to complete things by.

I am doing the list thing to! The last cruise came up so quickly even though we planned more than a year out, but we had a big move and a bunch of other things in there. I don't want that to happen again. I want to be prepared.

I wrote DCL after our Double Dip to tell them what fun we had and to recognize a few crew members. I also told them of our disappointment with Ocean Quest for the 11-13 year olds and they wrote and said they are trying to make improvements so hopefully by 2010 they will have "fixed the glitch." Dodgeball and Karaoke all day was a little much!

Oh sweet heavens!! I was gone for less than a full week to Seattle and you guys have filled like a million pages!!! There is NO WAY I can go back and catch up on all that......so suffice it to say that Jason and I are home from Seattle now...we had a very nice trip and it was productive from a work standpoint as well. We decided to book our airfare and hotel through DCL because we actually got a way better deal than any dummy dates I was booking online to try to get a sense of the rates....and we were able to get one of the cheaper hotels, too, because we're flying there on Sept. 7th since we're on the last Med.

Otherwise....if I've missed anything important in the last week that I shoudl be responding to...someone let me know!!

A candy tasting sounds like a lot of fun! I was racking my brain trying to think of some kind of candy that is original to NY and can't come up with a single thing...I'll have to do some research and see if I can come up with something more original than honey candy - we can get that direct from the bee farm.

I like the idea of both individual and team FE gifts and agree with not having a scheduled day - on the EBPC Repo we did ours over the course of several days - basically did one or two floors a day depending on how many cabins were participating on each. I've already got ideas as to what ours will be.
