I just checked out hte updates roll call. Hi to many new people! KImberly--I love your photo:)
Tiffany--I keep meaning to mention that hte notebook from our FE has become our official list book for our errand days in Concord. It is great because we can keep things in the front pocket (like today I need to pay the Target credit card and pick up a perscription so those papers went right in).

The wings in Diversions are SOOOOO yummy! I wish I could have a few right now!

I was in Sydney in 2000 and I loved the city! It is beautiful! Have a wonderful cruise!

Cheese plate...my DF will love that! :thumbsup2

lol it was lovely but not much selection on the WB. On the EB they had loads of different cheeses but on the WB we ended up with the standard off the room service ones

OH I so want wings! In the UK you cant get decent chicken wings hardly anywhere (although TGI Fridays now does boneless ones that are good). So cant wait for next week when Im in Orlando to go to Buffallo Wild Wings!!!

That is interesting, I didn't know that decent chicken wings were hard to come by in the UK! I can imagine you are excited to go to Orlando for the wings! My DF got me into wings, before we started dating, I didn't really ever eat wings. I like them, but I try not to eat them too often because I know they aren't that good for me!

Yeah we dont really do wings over here like you guys do. My DBF didn't even like wings until we discovered TGI Fridays! I really dont know why they aren't bigger over here as they could be so much nicer but they use really skinny boney wings that have no meat on them so you end up just eating the sauce!

Bummer, can't get on the website neither. :( Don't know if others have tried it yet, but no luck either when trying to access it through google.

Great graphics though, Stephanie! :thumbsup2

And especially for Kathy;) ; Jacqueline it is.

Could we possibly incorporate this into the website? It would be a very helpful tool to have!! :)

Krista

I'd be happy to help, but I still can't access the website (I try every day; got a Dell laptop w/Vista w/Cox service). However, if someone wants me to email the Excel file as an attachment, just lmk. I haven't gotten through the entire thread yet (working backwards and at pg 70), and so far I've got 64 DISers (not all have regular names attached to their DIS names yet).

Marilyn, yes, we are practically neighbors. We're in south Stafford up 17.

Well I have no idea. Im just hoping that the servers all update over the weekend and I can then get in again. Have tried all I can and cant get in.

Just wanted to share!

Hey All! Just wanted to let you know that I was MIA yesterday due to a last minute plan. My SIL had two extra tickets to catch the Ellen show at the WB Studios in Burbank. So we hauled off our carcasses to the show. It was very last minute and I didn't mention it because we ended up being sat at the top middle row section. I figured my chances of getting on TV were almost nil to none.

Well, I mentioned it to my DIS friend, DisneySweetie and she just called me that she saw me on TV. For a milo-second. :lmao: But hey - I was there. She says that as Ellen comes dancing down the stairs I am off to the edge of the screen. I am saying this because as of now - it has not been shown on the West Coast. I am dressed in black of course, so I don't stand out. We were told to dress business casual and if jeans are worn to make sure they are not torn. I was standing next to a very tall gentleman who's wearing a white long sleeved pinstriped shirt. My daughter Megan is next to me in jeans - she was the smart one and wore comfortable clothes - and a beige cardigan over a purple polka-dotted shirt.

So, if any of you watch Ellen, make sure you tape it! LOL

BTW folks, that woman is SUPER TINY! I know that she looks normal size, but as she was dancing down the stairs I got a good look at her. I would be hard pressed to say that she is a size 6. We finally decided she is between a size 2 and maybe 4. She is very petite and although she was sporting a cold - she was blowing her nose and being checked for bats in the caves ( :lmao: ) she was trying her best to be herself. She was a bit subdued but I can see where she is a very good entertainer. Here I was all pressed to be bored and even I had a good time.

Her guests were Kristin Chenoweth from Wicked and Pushing Daisies fame - the one with the high pitched voice? Some home decorater with how to dress up your table for the holidays and Robin Thicke who floored me with how much he looks like his dad - Alan Thicke. Nice looking guy! and :hyper:

We made it out of there with Robin Thicke's new CD and a couple of samples of some cream for expectant mothers. I haven't opened the package yet as I am in the process of sending out some packages to my soldiers but I wanted to share. Hope you all can catch it. I also made it out with an Ellen jacket which I will post a picture of later. I am trying to get ready for a home volleyball game at St. Paul. So I will post later.

Sorry folks, just had to share!

We are Graham Ball and DW Corinna Ball.

Yes we have another cruise planned, I think Western Caribean departing October 3rd Next year ( I know I should pay more attention to DW about what we are doing). This will be our 2nd cruise, DW says third but we did cruise on magic in September then straight on to the Wonder the next day which I reckon only counts as one, albeit with two ships.

The transatlantic likely to be our fourth if all goes to plan.

Madeira. If you like walking and have a real head for heights walk up the old irrigation system. This needs longer than we get on the island really.

Busy day in Nassau today, five cruise ships including the Wonder, this is my sad obsession, checking out the web cams of where the ships are,

Welcome on board. Guess youve caught the bug like the rest of us lol. Dont forget to check post one and email your roll call info to Brooklyn so it can be added to the website

Weird question are you back home in the UK? Do you have Virgin broadband? If so can you try accessing the website http://www.transatlanticpirates.com

Trying to work out if its the website or virgin having issues

Hey Kathy! Great to see that we will be sailing together again!! Hopefully no more storms tho!!

We did have some rough seas at times but I actually love the bouncing around:goodvibes
I do feel badly for those who get sick but as for me, I love walking around during rough seas and watching the waves.
Last time there was only one couple in the club so we had the band all to ourselves. It was great !!

we had a personal performance:thumbsup2
Kathy

Hey everyone.....After Ellen does a few jokes she goes into the audience dancing. After she crosses thru the audience and then goes up the other side, you can see Laura smiling, clapping and bouncing to the music. Dont see her long, but she is there. I had to get back to work so dont know if she made anymore appearances!! :rotfl:

It isn't Virgin. I'm just across the Channel, use another provider and no finding the website for me neither. :headache:

Thankyou everyone for putting your names with your posts.
I have a good size list now and will copy it over, hope I can read my own writing:lmao:

Then I can start calling you by the correct names, I hope!!

Looks like we have lots of creative scrappers on board this time.

I am fascinated by the Monkey stories:lmao: :lmao:
I have NO knowledge about any of these ports accept for St. Maarten and Castaway Cay. So I had NO clue there were monkeys running amuk, sounds like fun!!

I havn't had time yet to look up anything about these ports yet.

any other fun trivia I should know?

I love a new adventure, and this sounds like it will truly be a magical cruise with so many nice people along, and we're just getting started.;)

I know after 250 pages we have to start a new thread.
I bet we have 100 threads by the cruise?

Anybody else want to guess??

Kathy

Thank God cause already complained to Virgin about their issue with yahoo mail today and didn't want to complain about that too lol

Oh, I know the feeling. If I didn't read all of the trouble-postings on here before I would've been having real trouble containing myself from contacting my own provider. They give totally cr*p service and connection since there was a corporate takeover, so whenever I can't access anything I go into the pavlov-mode of 'blame it on Ziggo'. (our provider).

Now let's just hope we'll get on before we hit the 100-day mark. :rotfl:

Kathy

I think Gibraltar is the only European country with native monkeys (please someone correct me if Im wrong). They are a lot of fun though just have to be a little cautious and no feeding them. There was also a mother and baby there when we were there and she must have been wheening him/her as she kept hitting him away

I reckon we might have a lot too lol . I'm not sure if it is set on 250 though is it as I think I've been on one that got bigger than that but I can't remember lol

Kathy here are a couple pictures I took last year in Gibraltar of the apes.....If I remember right, I think they can weigh up to 50lbs....I may be wrong, but for some reason that is what is coming to mind. I stayed away from them!!
