Hi all!


Anyone else sailing before we cruise in 2010?

Have to say that we have a 4-Night Wonder booked in April (just for a fix), and Mike turns 40 next year, and he picked a 2-week on HAL for that. But, I am most excited about the cruise a whole 23 months from now.

We are!! We are taking the kids and doing the 10/31/09 Western. My kids are so excited to spend next Halloween on the Magic!

Okay, Buckeye Gal said that I could reveal my ridiculous OCVP and please let me know if anybody has beat me because I am pretty bad. I came home from the Double Dip and made labels for the luggage tags that they give you when you disembark so you don't have to write them out, I just throw on the sticker! This is also in my binder! Hey - if we all give each other hints for the OCVP club - we will be in great shape!!!

We are sailing on the 3 day Disney Wonder 5/21-5/24/09 for my wedding. I'm getting married on the ship. 3 years ago, my daughter and I started a tradition of cruising on Disney for our birthdays in September (hers is 9/26 and mine is 9/23) so we will be on a cruise in September too.

My toner is FABULOUS --- that is a great point! We could not find stamps easily except in Gibrator. It was right outside the ship. After it was such a hassle, I gave up so postcard labels are good, but I won't be needing them on this trip.

Yep, the Sept 09 cruise to Tortola! It's TiggesrPal's 50th birthday party cruise (she's my little sister). Big sister will be sharing a cabin with me for her FIRST ever cruise and brother and his fiance will be joing us, this will be their first cruise on DCL. A pretty good sized collection of pals from the WB PC are on that cruise too and we are going to have a BLAST. So there may be periods when we're missing in action from this thread as things heat up for that cruise....but never fear WE WILL BE BACK! As a matter of fact, I'm waiting to see how big sis does on the cruise and then will invite her to join me on this one. If she doesn't, I'll be taking applications from all my DIS gal pals to fill this cabin!

Does anybody here scrapbook their cruises??

You will see me walking around picking up scraps of streamers or confetti after the shows. I keep all the trivia cards, just anything I can find that has to do with the cruise.

I love scrapbooking the album instead of just a photo album, but I am only a beginner.
I would love some tips from experienced scrapers for this cruise to make it extra special?

We just did the September DD (which turned into a single dip due to Hannah), but I don't think we'll be on board the Magic before 2010 . It's my understanding they're putting in the same kind of waterfall effects in the adult hot tub area that the Wonder has. That'll be nice!

They did add the waterfalls and new loungers while it was in drydock. Friends of mie have been on her since then and said it was really nice.
It also got the new splash zone for toddlers which is alot better than the Mickey ear was.

Stamps are available at any newsstand or tobacco shop ("tabac"). Same price as at the post office.
