Brooklyn, found a similar article. It is from 2007, but hey you never know, with the oil prices going down and travellers looking for cost efficient methods of travelling.

Canada, would be cool, but it would be from the Airport that is half way between here and Buffalo (would save 1 hr drive), and with the extra fees, not really an incentive for me to fly out of Canada on either Southwest or JetBlue (also granted Canadian flying rights.)

Hi all, are we still on first tier pricing for this cruise? I haven't seen a price jump since early morning October 14th. Hopefully, there will be a downward adjustment in price during the summer of 2010. Maybe they should just name this the WB TA EB PC reunion cruise

I think we have lots of 'reunions' going on here! I've seen some "Geeks" and a couple of '06 Double Dip groups and and PC trips, both directions!

I thought ATA had filled Bankruptcy here recently? I dunno, could have been a different carrier, seems most of them all are having problems these days!

They did lose their connection to ATA. The link I quoted above has a complete post from the conference/press release/whatever it was.

We're big SW fans. We're flying SW later this week for our Halloween Double Dip cruise on the Magic.

I think SW would have to change their business model for international flights. On long haul flights, passengers will want reserved seats, meal service, and personal entertainment screens. Ding!

I too love Southwest! I live in Williamsburg,VA and sometimes they have really cheap flights from Norfolk, VA to Orlando. Nonstop. I am there in less then two hours!!

I fly between Airtran and Southwest whoever has the better rate. Airtran also has nonstop to Orlando. So I have a choice.

That makes more sense! I do hope Southwest can come up with something. I am sick of US Airways, the last 2 times we used them from Las Vegas to Orlando, they have canceled the non stop flights we were booked on and then shoved us into crappy connecting flights. We use Southwest every time we fly to Portland though, and have never had a problem!

But do you have an excel speadsheet done up yet? Not that I would know anything about that, lol.

Normally, on a cruise thread I do a electronic newsletter or the website or graphics, nothing on this thread, so odd yet so freeing, lol. I did do up a new name badge, says "Pirating the Disney Magic across the Atlantic", and the dates. Used the old pirate map graphic as a background, might change the badge ring to blue, give it some pop, along with the mickey heads. If people are interested, closer to the cruise I will customize it for others. I feel the need to create, and I can't help it.

I am the same way. It drives DH nuts becaues I tell him all the details my racing mind thinks up on the way home from work every day!
I have not formally started any of my lists, but I have them for our 2 2009 vacations. (I actually had one of the packing lists started before we even officially BOOKED the trip.)

Ummmm...... Well, there are two, each with mulitple worksheets!

I'm *SO* glad you're with me Pj & Sandie! I hadn't thought about it, but maybe my ambitions are derived from the same source as yours. I was always busy with my last Meets thread, too (they started affectionately calling me the Cruise Mom and heard "It's in Post #1!" more times than they could count!). It was well worth it though! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Athene, I'm with ya! I figured that while I have all these thoughts running through my head, I should just write them down now. Then that lead to details, details, details.... I couldn't stop! Now I need to go look at the excursions that were offered last summer so I can get an idea of those expenses.

This has also happened to us on US airways going to Orlando ....They always cancel that later non stop flight leaving MCO
