AW, thanks! Press will be leaving us in two weeks, she's going back to school to finish her education and hopefully will be a working girl in about 6 months. We have a new puppy, her name is Star.

If we are lucky Press will be chosen for breeding and will come back to us to foster. She's such a sweetie we would really like that, but we know there might be different plans for her. I'm gonna miss her a lot.

We were a couple rooms down from you on the PC. She sure is a beautiful Golden.
I don't think I would be able to give her up.

Well everything is confirmed for us , we are on the Med and the Repo and we have connecting 9's plus we are in the same rooms for the Med and Repo ...we dont have to move

We will be in 2602 and 2604

Please be makin sure ye be adding the cruise banners to your signature line , as you wouldnt be wanting to be walkin the plank do ye ?

We also will have a Black Version of the Logo soon as well .... And we can use the same person we used last time for Tshirts maybe ...of course the cruise banner logo is what we will use for the front .. This is what we used on the back ...

Don't know for sure who's traveling with me. Big sister will cruise for the first time with me to Tortola next year...if she loves it she might go for this one. If not...I've got a MESS OF DIS PALS. Maybe I can start a bidding war!

Still waiting to hear on our quote for three of us on the first Baltic. That could preempt this cruise, but I'm betting I'll be holding rooms on BOTH for at least a year...just in case I win the lottery or meet and mary a Disney/DCL loving senior!

Just got off the phone with your mom...I am soooo excited that we will be cruisin together again! Hopefully this time I will make it to Barcelona in time to actually see some of it and not arrive a few hours before the ship leaves!! Talk about having a nervous breakdown!!

I still have so many happy memories of the previous transatlantic repo dancing in my head. I said many times that if I ever had the chance to do it again, I'd jump on it...so here I am!

We're holding a Northern European capitals sailing too but unless I hit the lottery between now and then I don't know if that's gonna happen. I'm really, really pumped for it, but realistically I think it's gonna be the repo. Oh well, at least I can cheer myself up with the thought that I only have to fly one way and it's so nice to slowly regain the time as we head back home to FL.

Just got off the phone with DCL (wit barely any wait time). I decided to add airfare. It was basically $1,000 pp (with taxes included) to fly from LAX to Barcelona, transfers to the ship, transfers from the ship to Orlando airport and the flight back to LAX. Now that leaves out London and Paris but I am not sure I will get a better deal then this. I figure I have till 90 days out to cancel the air so why not hold it just in case airfare goes through the roof (not that it hasn't already )!

LOL! Yeah, we should be up to around 70-something by then. I think we'll hit 65 by the end of this year and 71 by the end of 2009. Not sure how many we'll do before the repo...these weird itineraries have really thrown my usual planning for a loop! I need to get it together by this weekend as we sail on Sun. on the Wonder and I want to book the rest of our 2010s on board.

I remember on the last transatlantic worrying beforehand if I'd be bored silly by six days at sea. By the end of those six days I didn't want it to end!! I was actually sad to see Castaway because it was almost over.

My grandparents came over on transatlantic liners, although probably in Titanic-bowels-of-the-ship type accommodations. I sometimes wonder what they would think about taking transatlantic cruises just for pleasure!

Theres a Very good chance Dylan wil be on this cruise ...If he doesnt make college football he will be there ...I mean I am hoping he is , but again hoping he is not ... The connecting room is for the 4 of us ... were going to need the room , If Dylan doesnt come we will drop to one room But it will be nice to have the extra room with him coming .. 24 days is alot of luggage and clothes especially if "The Captain" is coming

Trevoy will hopefully be playing HS ball so that's throwing a wrinkle into my plans. It was pretty funny, this morning he was asking, yet again, why I thought we wouldn't be able to take the cruise and I reminded him about football (I knew he wouldn't care about missing school) and he said "Oh, now I know how Dylan feels." He still remembers that he didn't make the PC cruise because of football.


By the way, are you clean shaven yet or are you holding out until Halloween? How was the Ren Faire?

No extra money due today at all. That is another reason why I just added it. We did DCL airfare and transfers on the last TA and everything worked out great. We booked that cruise 5 days before it left so we really did not have choice but to go with them. We paid about the same then too.

Yes, you can go days before or after. You are at there mercy for the hotel though. They book your hotel for you at their rates. In return though, you have transportation to the hotel then to the ship in Barcelona.....same in Orlando. For a total of 5 people it would cost me an extra $1500 for 1 night. Not sure if it is worth it. The only thing is peace of mind that if anything goes wrong we would not miss the boat. Just not sure that $1500 is worth the peace of mind.

She did not have Orlando prices yet so she could not tell me how much more it would be to extend on that end.

Well, managed to snag a CAT 11 for me (traveling solo for now) and a CAT 11 for my son and his fiance (Amy and Dave)!!!!!!!!!!!

Never made the Ren Faire cause of weather and some plans that came up , but no I havent shaved yet cause the Ole Captain has Halloween costume contests coming up and we got a B2B cruise to pay for ...
