Corinna!! We will get to meet afterall How was your Wonder cruise? Ours was "wonderful" of course The funny thing is I had changed the date because of that storm in Sept and we ended up with some yucky weather. I had a feeling that might happen. We still had a blast and Atlantis was really a lot of fun.

I will try to get my girls to start a kids/teen thread for us when they get home from school.

No yucky weather on the Wonder for us. They had swapped the itinerary around so that we had our day at sea first, but the weather was gorgeous. It was quite windy on the Nassau day (Tuesday) so they moved Patty's and Dale's vow renewal from the secret area on deck 7 to the Cadillac Lounge, but it was really magical.
Now our cruise the week before on the Magic was a different proposition. We had some fairly impressive waves on that and did not make our second stop at Castaway Cay.

Now our cruise the week before on the Magic was a different proposition. We had some fairly impressive waves on that and did not make our second stop at Castaway Cay.

We were also on the Double Dip in September w/the lovely Corinna and the unlovely and uninvited Hannah. One night we had swells up to 30 ft; things were actually rolling off the tables and we found ourselves walking uphill to get to the bathroom! At least the one day at CC was soooooo wonderful! I'm really glad this cruise ends w/CC; I just hope we get there (saying prayers already ).

Well...it's been a long day for me.

Last week, I had a cavity filled in my tooth that is ALL of the way in the back of the left side of my mouth. Since then, I've had nothing but pain in it. I have literally been on pain killers every waking hour since I had the procedure. So I couldn't take it anymore and called an oral surgeon. I went for a consultation late this afternoon. After showing me the x-rays, he said there is a shadowy area where my one wisdom tooth was located (I had the lower wisdom teeth removed in 2002). He said that it could be that the bone never grew back in the hole where the tooth was, a piece of tooth that was left in there or a cyst. I'm going to have a Cat-Scan tomorrow so in case it anything needs to be done, they can do it when I have the tooth removed on Monday.

So, after freaking out about everything, I had to work at the Disney Store tonight! I was in so much pain, that at one point I just stopped working (I was back stage processing shipment so it didn't matter too much) and all I really wanted to do was be at home.

I'm now at home, but I"m going to bed soon. I'm really scared about this possible cyst thing. I"m trying to be brave, but in reality, I'm freaking out about it.

Thank you so much for setting up the kids meet thread. My daughter Tink*girl has already responded. I think a little of me is rubbing off on her because she is excited about this cruise and is very happy that there are other kids her age already up there and posting. She is in the same age as your daughters.

There are so many people up here who are so helpful. I appreciate all the hints, ideas, organizing....what an amazing group of people there are on this thread

We haven't even taken our first cruise yet! We are going on the 4 night Wonder December 14. I know OKW93 is on this cruise also...any others?

I lurk around in the background read all the posts but I would really like to get to know some of the others that are going cruising in 2010! I've never been to a Dis Meet before. I will be in Florida on Sunday 12/21 and would like more info on the meet there. I am with a small group of people. I think we are scheduled to be at HS that day and not all in the party have hopper passes. I don't know how you do it... do you meet for a meal or for a ride or two or do we all spend the day together? I would like to take the time to meet up with whoever is coming to that meet and at least say hello.

Anyway, glad to be booked on this cruise

DD's principal declared election day "Red, White and Blue" day at school. DD was so excited! This is how she showed her support for our great country!!!

I made her shirt about 15 minutes before she left for school. I had so much to do that day that I kind of forgot until that morning. It all worked out in the end though!

Teeth issues are so horrible! I've had my ACL reconstructed twice and this pain is almost as bad as that, if not worse at times! You're right, at least it's not two days before the cruise in 2010!

Well, I went in this morning for the catscan, I think they called it an I-Cat. It didn't take too long and from what she said, she and the doctor think it's a just a piece of bone/tooth (or whatever it is down there) left in my gums from when I had my wisdom teeth removed in 2002. It's now formed a cyst around it, so they are going to take it out on Monday also. It's better to get it all over with at one time than to do it twice, I guess! Just worred about the pain...

Ouch! It will work out. I get all nerved just going for a cleaning. I need to have 2 crowns put in but I am putting it off. You are in pain though so you have to act. If you are like me the procedure is never as bad as I imagine it to be.

My younger kids had a teady bear election. So cute.

Are most of you using DCL air? I think we will probably stick with the DCL air because we are not going to spend any time in Barcelona pre cruise. I think it will be easier with our large group to just let DCL handle it all. Unless there is a really big sale of course.

I think I might get our own insurance though. What are you all doing? It would cost us $1152 through DCL. I think I might be able to do better on my own. Any tips?

You guys probably went though all this already. I should probably try to read some of the pages!
