There was torrential rain here around midday - horrendous!!! The thing I absolutely hate about wet weather at this time of year is that it drives the spiders indoors!!! We had a MASSIVE (think palm of your hand :faint:) one strutting around in the living room shortly after the rain storm. I've been hiding upstairs for most of the day since then... :sad2:

We had that rain too Kaz....just as I was walking out of Tesco....lovely!! :rolleyes1 Luckily I haven't seen the giant spiders yet :thumbsup2

 :grouphug:  Hugs to you all - hope it goes well, Mandy... :grouphug:  :grouphug:

Thanks Kaz:hug:

I seriously agree with you! I would much rather have either rotation 3 or even 1. But not Parrot Cay for both formals!

What rotation was chosen for early dining?

ABsolutely !:rolleyes1

OK, so I admit I'm a little late checking in, but 10000s of posts can be a little intimidating :P The excitement of being less than 2 weeks out has overcome it though :rotfl:

:welcome:

Hello there!:cheer2:

Hope everything works out for both of you. :grouphug:

.

Thanks Melodie :)

Sorry your weather in the UK has been pants (been dying to use that). And are you serious about the size of that spider? Eeeeeekkkkk!

Jon, thanks for posting those. She sure is a beauty! We'll be on the 2/27/11 sailing and I'm definitely looking forward to it.

I dont think I will ever catch up so I am going to jump right in.

Len done marathon:thumbsup2(clever clogs), I done the half and beat my pb by 3 mins, 2hrs 11mins:cool1:
Im pretty pleased.

The weather is just terrible here this am.

Anynews on the wine tastings?

And you guys will never gues what I found in the suitcase that is full of cruise stuf...........................................

yip, the phone.........................:rolleyes1
THATS the reason I need order and cant live in an untidy house, its not that I dont like untidy, I just cant function. It must have fell out my pocket, then the case got shut so we couldnt here it, then it was no signal in the case.
What a **** I am,lol. All that stress for nothing, anyway, lens please cause he has a new posh phone when I get it unblocked/

Good for you both on the marathon! Great time, Lynne.

So glad you found your phone. The last phone I lost was hidden by my DGD (naughty noodle :rotfl:); naturally I found it after I'd gotten a new one. The one before that got thrown out by my mother (we didn't realize at the time that she was developing dementia). Can't live without the little things, though, can we?

Would like to get more excited now but am anxious over dd as she is changing meds and the weaning off the old ones is hard.........:sad2: I would much rather go away knowing that she is well and happy.......

:littleangel:

P&PD that the change works out smoothly. We've been through a couple of those, so I know how you feel :flower3:.

Welcome to the crew! Check out pages 1 and 2 for some good info.

Hi Karen!

We live in Toronto, but must be in your neck of the woods - SE England near Tunbridge. We got rain, but must have missed the worst of it.

Sorry to hear about the spiders - just think happy, watery thoughts! :cloud9:

See You Real Soon!
Richard

:confused3 How do you find out which rotation you are asssigned to?

Jackie

If you are not linked with our groups, you will find the rotation on your keys to the world card when you check in. :goodvibes:goodvibes

If you are linked with our groups, we have no idea right now!!!!:lmao::rotfl:

:confused3 How do you find out which rotation you are asssigned to?

Jackie

You won't know until you get to your room. Usually on the bed is what looks like a ticket with the information on that.

Yes, when you get your key to the world card there will be a code on the bottom as well. We have, as a group, requested a specific rotation though. There is no guaranty, but they try to accomodate requests.

Yep!

We currently have rotation 1. Which would have put us in PC on Pirate Night. This was chosen as there is another group, which includes Captain Jack, that have that rotation. I will send the Captain a message on FB and see if they are getting the same information and if they plan to change to rotation 2. Perhaps he can check once onboard and be sure what the schedule is for us.

Not sure what to do. Believe me, being in the restaurant with Capt Jack on pirate night is worth it!! pirate: Especially if you have kids. He is way more authentic than Disney's Capt Jack and the kids are THRILLED when he visits the table.

I would love to be in the same dining room as the Capt on Pirate Night, but not at the expense of being in Parrot Cay on both formal nights. Yuck! I sent my TA (Tracy) an email asking her to confirm the dining changes, and request for us the rotations that are either in Lumiere's (1st choice) or AP (2nd choice) on the formal nights, even if that means unlinking us (again) from the early group dining.

You won't know until you get to your room. Usually on the bed is what looks like a ticket with the information on that.

Actually you find out as soon as you get your KTTW cards, as it's usually printed on there, with the first letters of the restaurant names listed in the order you have them (so either APLAPLAPL.., PLAPLAPLA.., or LAPLAPLAP....) The ticket you get in your room has your table number on it (also on your KTTW I think) and the timing of your character breakfast (which isn't anyplace else.)

OK - I just got notice from Autumn that they revamped the dining rotations. I am none too happy about this!!!

Here are the new ones. Please not that themes moved as well!!! So, now both formal nights are in the same restaurant!!!

Hayley, hope that you are not mad - I moved us to Rotation 3, as formal night is wining out over Pirate night... UUGH - please let me know ASAP if this is NOT ok...

I have updated page 1 as well...

Sign me one very unhappy camper...

I was not too happy with the last schedule, but had learned to live with it. But this one I do NOT like at all.

Thanks for all of the hellos (and hello back :wave2:), having been one of the day 1 bookers I've been waiting a long time, but it's finally feeling really close :)

Sue, how confident is your contact that this new rotation is accurate.

About as confident as one can be 8 days before heading to Spain... :confused3:headache:

So, I got the email from Autumn and she was already trying to juggle all of our other dining stuff, so I am hopeful that this is the only change. It looks like they changed the nights of the activities/themes and not the rotations. Or something like that...

Sorry your weather in the UK has been pants (been dying to use that). And are you serious about the size of that spider? Eeeeeekkkkk!

Pants is just about right too Joanne!:thumbsup2

P&PD that the change works out smoothly. We've been through a couple of those, so I know how you feel :flower3:.

Thanks, I have my sister on standby for while we're away but I shall still worry of course.......:rolleyes1

We shall have to get together onboard and swap stories I think.....:rolleyes1:hug:

You must be pretty close to Kaz, Richard, as you're both in Kent :goodvibes Hope you're enjoying our lovely weather!:cool2::rotfl2:

:littleangel:

OK - in addition to the sour news I got on rotations, I did get Autumn involved with out tasting seminars. I have an outstand question on them, but will go so far as to say that I am happier with them than the dining...

More on those tonight... I have to get back to work...

Sue, how confident is your contact that this new rotation is accurate.

That is THE question seeing as things have always been muddled as far as the rotation went!! I think we might just have to wait and see.

Personally I'm not too bothered about the actual restaurant, as long as I am eating with friends.:yay: Having said that Parrot Cay is my least favourite and I am always cold there, but I won't be caring. I will have to eat there some nights anyway.

Thanks Kaz:hug:
You're welcome, hun. Must be such a worry..

ABsolutely !:rolleyes1
Any idea what rotation we're on, Mandy???

Sorry your weather in the UK has been pants (been dying to use that). And are you serious about the size of that spider? Eeeeeekkkkk!
And you used it very expertly!!! :rotfl2: Yes, sadly I am. :sad2: I was on the phone with my DD when I spotted it - musta popped her eardrums with my scream, poor love...

Hey Richard!
Cue "It's a Small World"! ;) You're not wrong - definitely my neck of the woods. :thumbsup2 And even more so tomorrow when I'll be taking my DS back to school in Tonbridge!! :goodvibes

As for the 8 legged monster, I've ordered my son a pizza (online and from the safety of my bedroom) for his 'last night of the hols' dinner and won't be going downstairs to the living room until more menfolk are home... Can't wait to escape my arachnophobia by going on the cruise... :teeth:

I've sent an email to Tracy (DU TA) and asked her to verify and get us on whatever rotation will put us in PC on Pirate Night with the Captain. I have also sent him a message on FB. Hopefully he will check in there and make whatever adjustments he needs once onboard his Med cruise. Anyone who wants to unlink and try for some other rotation, please send me a PM ASAP!
