I just spoke with a Member Services Supervisor who explained to me that offers are not combinable. So my on-board booking credit for the PC cruise is all I will get even if I use my Disney Rewards card to make final payment for that cruise. I thought I had gotten both on another cruises but she says no. Oh well. She apologized IF I had been given incorrect information when I booked this cruises.

It use to be what put Disney above all others was their customer service. Other cruise lines (Princess) sure seem to be trying everything to make you feel like family (sound like what Disney use to do?). With two more larger ships to fill I wonder if Disney will rethink their new cost cutting measures. Is this the new Karl L Holz management style? After as much as we are paying for these trips, and god knows the PC cruise is 3x as much, it isn't the $100 I am worried about it is the way they make you feel. val

Big Lots. Saw them in the ad this Sunday. Had looked at them the last time we were there because they had memory cards for $9 and confirmed they were Crocs. val

Darn, wish I knew last night when we were there. But then again, we had limited time and were on a back to school mission. I'll have to swing by again tonight. In the past when they had Crocs though, I didn't care for the selection.

Well we have just returned from school and Danny managed to pass all of his GCSEs .... 2 x A grades, 3 x B grades, 3 x C grades and 1 x D grade ( Maths ... not his strong point ). Still waiting on Art and Design result.
So we are all really proud of him as he will now be accepted at college to study Media Production.

Well, then not particularly sad that we canceled our Disney Chase Visa when they raised the rates. Our card was "From Day One" and we have excellent credit, when they sent a letter stating the interest rate would be over 25% we said thanks, but no thanks. We now use a credit union visa card exclusively. They do not raise our rates just because they can.

In my excitement to order a bear that had a Tuxedo I could use for my Pal Mickey, I have ended up with two

What happened was, I got the email confirming the sale and the next thing I know I am getting an email saying the seller canceled the order. Without thinking or trying to contact the seller, I went on and bought one you can pay for it now. When I turned in a negative response about this, I got a very angry email from the first seller. I wrote back stating what was I to think when she canceled the mailing. Apparently Pay Pal sends out the email stating the cancel. What I didn't know was that she got a second mailing slip and mailed the package. I got the package from the second seller last Thursday and her package yesterday. Naturally I called Pay Pal to complain and really didn't get the answer I wanted. And yes I should have tried to contact the first seller.

So,,,,anyhoo is there anyone who would like a tuxedo for their Pal Mickey??
I was able to get the tux off of the bear but I had to cut the bow tie off. I am not worried about that since I am making a bow tie and cumberbund for mine. I was also able to open up the jacket front cause they had slip stitched the front. The tux fits perfect

On past cruises with Ducky, there were always a few free seminars. I think there was an adults only and a family one.

We just got back from a weekend at the opera in Santa Fe, NM and it's back to reality now.

I've been doing some serious cleaning today. I really needed to do it so I can mess up the living room and bedroom spreading out all of the things I have yet to pack!

....I am still looking for a pink boa. I know my hubby is listening cause on the weekend he went to a few stores ( with out me asking) and found every color put pink. He even went to an adult store....

Update on the peaches.... I made 10 pints of jam and a cobbler last night using about half of the peaches we bought Sunday. Today I plan 2 peach pies and then I will can what is left.

Oh that cobbler sounds so good! You had my mouth watering so much at the thought of fresh peaches that I purchased some at the market yesterday. I think they'll be "ripe for the eatin' " tomorrow! Enjoy your treats!

A bit stressful at times but now we have most of our household goods and we can start putting the house together. We just got back from a weekend at the opera in Santa Fe, NM and it's back to reality now.

Yay so about 2 weeks ago I ordered our MMC shirts and we should finally be getting them tomorrow. and the other day we went out and got a whole bunch of stuff for the fe's.

but still have so much to do and get before we leave. like going to build a bear and getting a disney costume for my teddy bear.
